How busy do you get with work that time of year? Would you be able to come into town the Thursday before the show (early Friday at the latest)

I plan to arrive Friday afternoon before and stay until Wednesday so I can get family vacation time in at least Monday and Tuesday. Are there meetups Thursday?

How are you finding the Pilgrim?

Back to sets that bring me joy. Rediscovering one of the pairings that sent me down the rabbit hole of “there’s better out there”

Listening to the venerable Campfire Audio Andromeda 2020. I’m yet to hear another CFA IEM tuned like it. My first cable roll to an ALO audio balanced SPC. Even back then I noticed the subtle improvement in clarity and mids. Then went further into the rabbit hole when I the store asked me to demo Andro2020 with the SP2000.

Yes, if I tear into it - that flat, poorly textured BA bass with the fast decay and no impact gets to me. There’s noticeable BA timbre and the dynamics… But sod it. I’m just going to enjoy the music. I remember once I thought these were the greatest things I ever heard.

Having climbed to summit-fi am happily rediscovering base camp.

At Zep today.

Trailli is super disappointing, so was Singularly & Alter Ego.

Canpur 622 wasn’t bad at all.

Overall was really surprised with how much I liked Noble’s IEMs.

Really goes to show, can’t follow lists even if most people vote for that IEM.

I do not really enjoy any of the Watercooler all time greats (Z1R, Trailli, XE6, RN6)

There’s a lot of personal preference. They are also mostly very different.

What about them didn’t resonate with you? Though I see on the “rank the IEM thread” you preferences VEX, onyx and phonix

Did you try Anni2023 while you were at Zepp? I wonder if it may have appealed. It was my pick followed by 622B from what Zepp had to offer. And then I forgot to buy the Dita Project M in my rush to get home

I asked RHA who told me :
