new kid on the block http://www.amazon.com/Basstyle-TH-5001-Professional-Headphones-Broadcasting/dp/B00NTVWZY6/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1456797933&sr=8-8&keywords=basstyle
Do you know If they have an open designed headphone?
Thank god they finally switched to a detachable cable design.
I have the pro 80, but some connections problems that sometimes affects the stereo.
how does the pro 80 compare to the Sony MDR-1A? i can get the sony for 30% on sale now
Clip+ and Topping NX1 worked quite well for me with the Pro80. Pretty nice combo for a rather small price![]()
It boggles my mind how you can sell these headphones for this price without a detachable cable.
Why? There are companies that sell $500 headphones without a detachable cable.
If you buy a headphone for $500 without a detachable cable that's your fault. If I'm buying some headphones above the $50 price range a detachable cable is a must have feature.
That's coming from a guy who owns a Philips SHP 9500/ Monoprice Hi Fi DJ style headphones. I bought the Takstar Pro 80 and the HI 2050 both priced below $50. So If a company sells a headphone without a detachable cable for $500 and monoprice can do It with their DJ headphone that costs only $15,99. There's definitely something wrong.
I'm almost 100% sure that people don't buy headphones for a removable cable. I'm sure there are other note important factors involved.
People buy headphones for gaming/music. I don't see a problem If a guy like me asks for a feature if he wants to buy a higher priced headphone. So If companies produce headphones without detachable cables I'm looking for alternatives.
It's getting a little bit offtopic isn't it?
My problem is If Takstar sells higher priced headphones they should really start to think about detachable cables.
