Funny...when I see mini-USB I kinda feel that's "old fashion". Maybe, that's just me. But I've got microUSB for the DX100, Go-DAP X,  Go DAP DD Socket 1. So having it on the (RW)AK100 is ok with me.

Sennheiser would probably do a brilliant job if they wanted to make an audiophile DAP (prob cost $2000 though :p )

Hedphonz, i live in Austria where we have plenty of Senns and AKG, actually not much choice besides these two brands :frowning2: ... i never liked them. for me they are similar to German cars, way overpriced for what you get.

many adapters i have are Mini USB.... same applies for amps and a few other devices... and it pains me to carry two chargers instead of one.
anyway, that's me only, perhaps i am corny

as regards ''my beloved EB50''.... i could not care less if franchise of MF or MF itself... all i care is sound and they never stopped to amaze me. believe me they did a great job sonically.... BUT i hear that fit problem with EB50 is so big that many people give them back. i was just lucky not to have fit problem but then i am a small minority. for many people fit problem was a stopper. EB50 are also very sensitive to seal and tips, much so than any other IEM i experienced.
 
so i am NOT saying EB50 is for everyone, all i am saying is that they keep ME excited but not necessarily you.

its the opposite for me , the only device I have that use minis were my powerbank, and my 2 DAC/Amp, the rest of my device is already using micro USB , so the fact that the ak100 comes with a micro usb feels like a blessing to me

My black AK100 has been on holiday since Wednesday and I miss it quite a lot.....SO I couldn't resist today

Hong Kong.....the distributor just delivered the last batch on Monday. I bought it at Jaben and they have one unit left............No 61/300 I think
