Plug adapter with a resistor inside to increase impedance. I've used 75 & 100 Ohm adapters abs enjoyed the results.

Oh I see. Got it. I made one with 20 ohms resistor, and I also have the old Hifimediy USB DAC with 200 ohms output impedance. Or use the Geek Out Line Out which I think around 47 ohms. I will give it a try. Thanks!

Good morning labsters!

This is why I love BlackBerry

Just last night I figured out that my BlackBerry Z30 has a line out option! So when I have it attached to an external amp like the E17 or RunABOUT I am actually in fact NOT double amping it

When I have headphones plugged directly into my Z30 and change the volume on the phone, a little status bar pops that says headphone volume and a little bar showing the decrease or increase in headphone.

However, when I have my phone plugged into an external amp, the status bar shows line out volume when I try to raise or lower the phone volume. So not only does it have line out, it has variable line out!

BOOM!

Nice paint job on the stand. I still haven't figured what to do with mine. Wanted to blue it, but cold blueing kits supposedly don't work that well on stainless (needs more iron).
