Just got my replacement S3. First pair had channel mismatch. Much flatter bass vs. other Brainwavz S-series but definitely more pronounced than my first pair!

You really liking the K553 Podster?

I'm finding it's really hard to get a good deal and adequate bass for the music I listen to, and my ears touch the drivers. Thinking about selling them, to be honest.

I do Nik but they are closer to my old 702's and I don't or have not found any of my AKG to be bass oriented. I like the detail in them. My 553's fit my head better than my 702's did or my new K99's. They are very cheap but I was not expecting $200+ cans for $40 Believe it or not my bass cans are my very old but very faithful Grado SR-60's
