Guys, I've decided to get a balanced desktop amp but how do I get a balanced extension cable?

What kind of cable configuration do you need?

The amp has XLR 4 pin. I've found an adapter from 4 pin (male) to 3.5 TRRS (female) so a 3.5 mm TRRS or a 4 pin XLR would work. I've found some cheap 3.5 mm TRRS cables but I'm not sure they're balanced, I'm honestly a bit confused

You could do a quick solder job...or alternatively look into the one @HiFiChris  suggested.  Check out the pin config...should be the fastest way to figure out if it works.

Preferably xlr 4 pin male to 3.5mm balanced (TRRS) female but xlr male to female (4 pin on both) would also work.

Edit: length about 2 meters.

Yeah, making one is also an option. I'm surprised there's so few ready made available.....

Ours are made to order, but we are able to build them in your specs.

My Cascadia Audio Talos review is up! This is a pretty good V-shaped T50RP mod.

Alright, guys. My 5 year old boy goes in for his second (and hopefully final) ear surgery tomorrow morning to restore hearing in his left ear. They'll be replacing his degrading ear bones with titanium ones. A bit scary, weird, and cool all at the same time. Send us some good vibes!

Good luck my guy! Don't worry, he will be fine. At least he now is gonna have a good excuse when someone calls him hard-headed!
