Are we Yanks supposed to celebrate? I'm not. Still utterly ridiculous.

I will stay out of the new IEM market, even with the tax at the "reduced" rate. This hobby doesn't mean enough to me to get ripped off.
I heard headybuy is offering tax paid shipping to US. They are the dealers of Ice Labs, Vortex, Nostalgia, and a few more HK based brands. Saw this on their story.

𝙍𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙨𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣: Bringing Back the Classic
🎼

___________
The RSD Return is the revived, renewed version of the RDB Mk4, Rhapsodio's classic IEM from the past!

At Return's core lies Rhapsodio's proprietary, newly upgraded 10mm PEN dynamic driver for delivering deep, textured bass with remarkable control and impact.

Complementing this is a meticulously tuned array of four custom balanced armature (BA) drivers, dedicated to crafting an expressive midrange and soothing treble response.

-----------------------------------------

I wonder if 699 USD for 1DD+4BA is competitive and tuning justifies the price;

I know they make quality products but there are so many great other IEMs at this price point like for example Alpha Omega RA
4+1 for $700 would be a big NAH for me. I don't care who's releasing it, when you have some 4+1 in the $200 range that are BALLERS and punching above their weight. In today's market, if you are over $500, you better bring some EST's, BCD's, MPL, or something to that effect if you want to be competitive, and we're talking multiples of those arrays.

WORD! I won't add anything because you summed it up very well. This iem is so good that I've actually sold my MG800 and ME600 yesterday. I hope the guy who I sold to will enjoy these iems. To just sell my beloved MG800 speaks volume of how special Archangel is for me!
Thank you @Penon for making this great iem and for making the nozzle smaller at 6.2mm instead of 6.9mm like on H60 or EBC80.
Yep. Archangel is one where when I get listening, it's hard to switch out. I have to, so that I can give review units their shine, but my gosh, sometimes it's tough to do. It's such an all-arounder, that it pushes along the lengthy listening sessions, because I can play metal/hard rock, reggae, contemporary jazz, acid jazz, or 80's pop, and they all are equally at home with the Archangel. Hip hop? NO PROBLEM. This thing pumps out bass! So yeah, I'm right there with ya.

I really like what i read about how these performe, but the noozle is not an issue? Size wise? Because i just can't handle a big nozzle like that.

You guys dont feel it in the ears? Is it smaller then the penon fan3 or about the same sized?

Because the fan3 fit me like a glove👍
There is no comparison to be honest. The Archangel shells are huge, while the Fan 3 is smaller and way more "ergonomic", but the shells don't bother my gigantic ears, so they stick out, but they aren't the worst offenders (not like the Legion or the H60), but no, not a fair comparison with the much smaller Fan 3.

New Moondrop.

"They presents Harmon IEM, featuring three dynamic drivers and brand-new glass-dome composite diaphragm, utilizing the patent XTM series complex frequency crossover technology. It comes with switchable 4.4mm BAL and 3.5mm SE plugs. Available now for $349.99!"
$349.99USD?!

Given the tariffs, I didn't think I would navigate Aliexpress well, but I managed to get the TSMR Armor for $240. Linsoul is charging everyone in the U.S. shipping charges, which is how they are implementing the tariffs. Hifigo and Penon's stores are not charging shipping. I expected to see an additional charge on the Armor, but there is a statement on the final cart that indicates any additional charges are included in the final price. I hope the Armor is not a repeat of the H60 or the X, and offers something different. Anyone verify that for me?
Linsoul isn't charging shipping. I PTT on the KZ AM16 balanced because I had a $10.00 off code and no shipping charge, so I was actually able to get this for $45.00, which is cheaper than any Alix store, including KZ, so I was able to PTT on this thing, when I thought I'd be skipping out on it. Go to the Linsoul website directly. Not the Alix store.

After a total collapse at customs, they're here. And this, my friends, is what it's all about. Happy to say these also look so classy IRL.

I can only wish Abel, the founder & maker, all the best, but these will sell themselves, no need for crazy marketing campaigns.
Sure would have been nice if hadn't shut out an entire country from purchasing this? So in some ways, par for the course for anything associated loosely with Aur. Missteps. Sure, I understand the why's in a way, but still, give folks the option if they want to spend MOAR?
12 sound combinations with the valve and the tuning nozzles!
I hope they will replace my beloved, late WG T-One.
I have the Fission incoming, and I still own a functional WG T-ONE, so I can make a direct comparo.

Ummm Singapore Canjam was last month, first weekend of April. I think you mean to say some other city Canjam.

______________

I think I need to tip roll on the Letshuoer DX1. The stock Clavelon style tips provide sibilance in vocals. What do you guys suggest?
DUNU S&S are my go to for the DX1

Do you think you will be hit for the Tariff bill at some point?

On Aliexpress Linsoul is charging shipping. Probably not on their other site, but I have ordered there since the tariffs were imposed.

How did it go? I was told by a brand that the shipping is high because of the handling of the importing now that De Minimis is gone. I then asked if the shipping included the tarifff. They said No. So, when does the tariff get paid?

According to Aliexpress the total cost of your item is what it is when you buy it and taxes are added. They tell you that on-site.

What Iems does have this brilliant purple gold dynamic driver?

Also i know it is in the Inwaken dawn, and the ivipq iem and is it also in the simgot 1000? Is it the same one or is it a better more premium version altogether.

I am asking because i really like how it sounds its just something special about it.
So looking into more options👍

Thanks! That's true! I also already tested it with $39 ISN NEO 1 budget headphones and it performed great with them, but i guess not everyone is ready to buy a cable several times more expensive than headphones haha😅 but if you can, it's definitely worth it:100:
Once I know I won't be charged an extra arm/leg with import fees, the Neo 1, Shark, and this apparently insane cable are high on my Penon wishlist!

OTTB This IEM’s performance is unbelievable for the price

Bass has real good sub bass and a texture that’s soothing, but also bold enough to give some good impact.

Mids are rich and feel slightly forward but to the side , accentuating vocals very well.

Treble is so crispy and clean very natural sounding. No sibilance at all.

Soundstage is very nicely layered and not too wide but also not intimate either. (goldilocks)

Very impressed with these , gotta thank @Ineras for the suggestion.

It’s totally nuts how competitively priced these are. I feel like I’ve robbed someone.

Going to burn 🔥 these in now. Looking forward to @-rowan- ’s impressions when he gets his soon.
WOW... I wish I could get my hands on these! Maybe when AE loosens up a bit... I'll have to keep my eye out!

Shanling Tino IN THE HOUSE! [a day earlier!] with Sezzle coupons and Amazon discounts, I got them for ~$50.
These are smaller, comfortable shells, similar to the CK2V... STUNNING faceplate... Not using stock cable since it only came in 3.5mm. [Using the XINHS Summer Elves cable for now. I like green/brown combo!]
Love the tip selection though.
Sound impressions...

Smooth yet detailed enough in the treble. Excellent, musical STAGING with vocals. I'm quite impressed. Not a TON of sub-bass... these are definitely more mid-bass focused, which isn't usually my preference. We shall see how they hold up. Soundstage is surprisingly wide. These sound absolutely nothing like the Castor Pro bass, or [ROFL] the TRN MT4 Pro... {Rustling of ANCIENT archives: KZ ZS1. Yea no comparison!!} The Tino is EASILLY the best 2DD set I've heard. Musical, lush, but so far, not too warm for me. Instruments so far sound quite natural.

Solid idea to stay out, yet Amazon has a lot of inventory that is priced pre-tariff. So you can still buy stuff at good prices if it is in stock here in the US and shipped by Amazon.

Or Give it a few months and enjoy what you have, things WILL change.
