You're right, we disown you now.

A bit off-topic, but seeing as I'm still fairly new here, what's the difference between the discovery thread and the watercooler one? They seem to share many traits of this thread based on their introduction post.

They buy cheap iem's, we're more discerning here :nerd:

That's in conjunction with that video LIAR, but with all the IEMs I recently bought during this Summer Sale thingie, it's going to be a fairly long stretch before I buy anything, and I'm fairly confident in that statement. LOL I got a lot to sift through in the next week or so.

You got so much stuff I'm surprised you haven't got a dragon sitting on top of it 🥇🥇🌋

Watercooler is for leaving impressions on super high end gear, around $2000 and up on average from what I've seen

The discovery thread is mostly about chi-fi, but I've seen people talk about cables, tips and meme about stuff like KZ and Shrek squiggy lines

I remember at one point someone probably older than my dad, (but probably shouldn't call any names just in case), accused me of being a Crinacle bootlicker so aggresively, that it was deleted altogether at some point... In response to some what if Regarding the TRN V90 if I still remember right.

DUSK DSP default VS the target I used for the current EQ.

And VS the FH15.

On a maybe more relevant note.

Another collaboration incoming?

The hardest part is keeping track of all the tracking numbers! This week is fairly benign, but starting Friday, it's gonna get fast and furious with the daily drops LOL
Seems like I'm in the right place then 😅 honestly, I'd have no life if I had to track that thread as well!

I'll probably take a hiatus on gear for a while once I get the noir.
The Watercooler probably started similar to the Discovery page, but where Discovery covers the gamut from $5.00 to $2,000+, the Watercooler has evolved into the kilobuck page, where if it's not over $1,000 in value, then it's not worth talking about, because it's the page populated by the big spenders, deep pocketed folks, and influencers who get on the summit-fi tours etc. That's the biggest difference. You won't catch them discussing the latest KZ, Letshuoer, TRN, Simgot, or hell, even Softears release, or the latest DX180, Hiby R4, or ONIX alpha 1 dongle.

Just opened the Pilgrim and am pairing with Questyle M15 in low gain. Details stand out immediately. It took a minute to get a seal, but I like the SpinFits supplied. I will listen to different genres tonight and tomorrow and give my own review soon. I will use various sources and try a few different tips.

Jeez Louise !!....if that's the case then "I'm OUT"...everything that you hold dear sounds off limits WTAF !!...I'd rather have deeper MUSICAL pockets, a rotation that works seamlessly, coupled with countless GB of hi-res FLAC files, to produce that "magic sauce" ER !! :L3000:

even Softears release.
Softears has had a tribrid model called Enigma in the works for months

I saw a listing @ Musicteck for a cool $3699 months ago but the listing vanished, I assume the release date was postponed and will probably drop next month.

Musicteck teased the Enigma a few days ago, love the box and presentation but that's to be expected when you're paying this much for an IEM.

Wonder if they include gold kit-kat foil wrappers - to sweeten the deal ??...At £1233 per driver - it's leaves a bitter aftertaste methinks !!
