For me, it was a combo of the price and the overwhelming “marketing” posts that were made on these forums about the Oriveti IEMs. Glad it seems the brand seems able to back up with quality, but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

Edit - would like to clarify that the OD200 is in my wishlists tho, if it ever goes for a decent price or a gift opportunity comes up it’s probably up next on the budget end for me
I know I shouldn't bite but as I was singled out in the original Marketing jibes. I have waxed lyrical in more posts about the Tansoi Mira X.
That I paid full price for. Is enthusiasm for a new iem experience, that sounds different to the thousands of clones now available, " Marketing"?
if so the forums are not what I thought they were, which is sharing our love of toys we put in our ears.

I will also take way more column inches talking about my favourite bands without any form of recompense

To those of you praising trio, I wish you guys had tried rhapsody too. Minimal BA timbre and 4 way crossover. Effortless, smooth sound at a budget. Once I've grown used to the chunky size, it continues to amaze me everyday with separation, imaging and even layering. It's not vivid in the resolution but great otherwise.

Edit: I wouldn't imagine these two use different DDs. I mean the legendary DD with undisclosed driver material.

DTTN LING FIRTS IMPRESIONS

Hello Friends!!, DTTN Ling arrived today!, I bought them blindly, just for the looks and driver configuration, I´m so happy to take this risk!.

Hello mates, DTTN Ling arrived today, Very first impressions: Slightly warm, punchy deep bass, smooth voices, delicate and secure highs, revealing mids (When I listen to Black Sabbath's first album, which is not a remastered CD, they sound transparent and revealing. They need some time to burn in and see what they can do, but they feel very mature sounding, shells in the big side, and no tips for my ear (my ear canal is too big). I use some XL Moondrop tips that fit so well.

Does it have same kind of wide and deep stage as Mest? I always wanted to buy Mest, but now im thinking about buying Verdandi. And what is better in it than in Mest?
Verdandi Is very V shaped and Mid forward if that's what your into it will blow you mind.

Totally agree. The Rhapsody, at least my copy, is a really good IEM, and a sign that CCA/KZ are getting closer in quality to the stupidly overpriced IEM's of the day....and still keeping their prices low. A real socialist enterprise that for our pockets....and pricewise.....actually works.

Definitely not trying to reopen that discussion haha, and like I mentioned it all ended up being for naught as the products actually seem very good.

We are all here to share the love of the music and tech.

I just received my P20 yesterday and am super impressed! It tops my Shozy Black Hole in every respect.
I was not impressed at all OOTB. After 20h of burning I got the promise of very good resolution and bass. Then amplitude of good/bad sound did make me do burn it further. Now after more than 150h of burning I can say P20 is very special with very decent balanced, very scalable, a little bright sound, at least 41t level. The bass is star of show - tight, quick, textured. On powerful source the soundstage is more larger, treble is softer and more natural. Vocals a bit restrained with overall L-shaped tonality.
I never use the stock cable. Instead I use Yongse Warcraft to reduce brightness and to get a little more bass. With NiceHCK AceOrpheus the sound become much more transparent and detailed.
In comparison with Shozy B2 P20 is not competitor.

Doesn't that make it a W?

Probably v shaped tonality with forwarded upper mids (read : shouty)
Sorry but call me skeptical I'm not sure how this going to be better than Mest, graph doesn't tell the full story but it tells the 70% synopsis. And Kinera has history with weird tonality too.

CCA trio graph indeed looked much better for me

Looking at it beside the Mest MKII it look bonkers 😅

Trusting some friends that it will be good, two of them sensetive to agressive pina gain. But that graph make me a little scared.

But matched with EA1000 it's not that much difference. And its also the BC that I understand can't be measured?

Excerpt from a PM regarding the SIMGOT EA500, TANGZU FUDU, SIMGOT EM6L and TANGZU Wan’er.

The EA500 weighs 11 grams, the FUDU weighs only 4 grams!

But with a phone the FUDU was lacking personality or involvement. Though maybe in a way the FUDU and Wan’er might be similar? Really the Sonus is brighter than the EM6L and more mid-forward. Where that single BA is ultimately utilized for everything. The EM6L is smoother and has a style of complex toned down midrange and beautiful imaging. Really to me the EM6L is like a better timbre (better imaging) Wan’er, also the FUDU and EM6L have a lot in common with bass, except you need that source to discover the FUDU bass. The EM6L has a laid back treble, still with sophistication due to all those BAs. But the EM6L tuning detours bad timbre due to the BAs being tuned down. Truly I went back to the Wan’er and the timbre wasn’t that great. Where this new league of Sonus, EM6L, EA500 and FUDU are world class. I would recommend any of the 3 and the fourth FUDU to a person with a good source.
That is spot on about the FUDU. When I first received my set, I hooked them up to a USB dongle, and although I still enjoyed them, they didn't "WOW" me. But once I got a BTR15 and a 4.4mm cable, these things went to the next level. The bass got tighter and the treble seems to have more shimmer and air. The soundstage opened up quite a bit as well. These are now my go-to IEMs. I'm certain another step up in source could make them a little better, but I am satisfied with them right now. I'm loving them!

So its kind of Kiwi Cadenza/Quintet with less treble?
Probably v shaped tonality with forwarded upper mids (read : shouty)

Mest graph here from 1k to 5k reminds me of Campfire Holocene, which sounds very "open". So maybe i should buy Mest.

Thank you guys very much.

First experience with Elisa Audio starting off right, Dark Phoenix was shipped out with US and international tracking within 12 hours of ordering… love to see it.
