Guess it's no problem to feel the noize with that setup.

Sounds clean. no unwanted noise floor like interferences or grounds.

Fosi Audio's latest product, SK02 headphone amp, set-up in optical mode then connected it my Questyle QP2R and Letshuoer Audio EJ07. What a power output.

Have Fosi gotten better over the years? I had a desktop amp a few years ago totally wired with reversed channels, yet they proudly proclaimed with holographic stickers that it passed QC.

I did a review on MC101 last year, I don't have any issues at all.

A learned guru once claimed that the "Apple dongle is all you need."

I see some folks in the HD650 thread on Headfi using this Apple dongle with this 300 ohm headphone, but whatever floats their boat.

Haha but jokes aside yeah, powering to adequate volume and powering something well are two different stories.
Not a matter of volume, but more of bass tightness, soundstage, dynamics etc. if something is not powered well, especially for high impedance/low sensitivity gear.
This message should be pinned somewhere.

I have lost the initial excitement I had for the new Questyle CMA18. The price tag is quite tricky. We have so many good products in the range. The price tag neither satisfies a dongle's price nor does the product replace a dap. It is surely quite portable. Something like the Earmen Angel (now at a cheaper price than the CMA18) is a much better product for my use case. You get loads of power, and the sound is quite good. But for someone, it may be a very usable product. YMMV and all that.

Another question to my friends here: Now that Pula PA02 is available on HifiGo, I am confused if I should get one. After a couple of mixed reviews, I think the craze has settled down or not?? I need some pointers from people using it. If it is at least as good-sounding as something like OD200, EA1000, FalconU etc., I would like to get a pair.

I want this mechanical beast for holding my IEMs lol. Amazing writeup man!! I am also a big fan of DUNU's IEMs(love the SA6 MK2, Falcon Ultra, etc).
Thanks, my man! I love K1 a lot...it's so much fun.

And they are so affordable now. I wish I had one when I was a kid. My wife and I make up for those days now. :)

Cheers!

Recently upgraded to an iPhone 13 Pro, and so I get MagSafe. Despite owning an NW-A306, I’m really impressed with the battery on this iPhone and I have a decent amount of onboard storage too.

So just browsing for dongles etc and saw the Khadas Tea mentioned. Ordered from Amazon and due tomorrow. The form factor sounds really neat and seems better than a dongle hanging off the phone.
