Just I don't know what to do: now I can buy Ref01 for $220. My main music style is techno/prog death metal and I need deep but quick and tight bass. At the same time I'm a little treble sensitive (especially at high-mids).

You'll have the bass you want but high-mids might get too hot for you if you push them.

Why is it so hard to purchase flush 2-pin replacement cables? I swear every replacement cable has the goofy spacers on the end of the connector, completely ruining the otherwise attractive aesthetics.

XINHS cables usually offer both recessed and flush 2-pin options.

I appreciate the extra space with the recessed ones, I got big ears lol. Agree with your message though it should come with an option for either on most every cable.

Wow how is the Shuoer S15?

Read it is just not a pure planar, but it has a passive radiator inside too.
That's right, it has a passive radiator.
On a first listen it seemed brighter to me. Perhaps it was the musical genre chosen.
Now I see that it has a powerful low end and great treble extension, but with a little less energy, so it's a bit softer. It has enough clarity but it is not an analytical ensemble.
Actually, the low end is very expressive, it combines forcefulness, technical skill, precision with an authoritative but very well-controlled punch.

I was surprised by the initial comparison with the MP145. I think the Hidizs have more punch in the bass, so it is possible that the low end control of the S15s is the difference.

But these are very initial impressions and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I like the Juzear Limpid SPC cable. Reasonably priced (around $25) with a flush 2-pin and very decent quality/sound.

This is the cable that comes with the 41T.

Currently on sale for the last day of 11.11 event.

In no particular order:
Penon 10th anniversary edition
Penon Turbo
Penon Serial
ISN EST50
ISN Neo 5
Letshuoer EJ07M
ThieAudio Oracle Mk2
ThieAudio Hype2
Yanyin Canon
These are some of my favorites. I'm sure I'll think of more.
"Best" is certainly subjective...
I listen to a lot of EDM as well.
Try the MARGARITA, and the OKAVANGO.

They are gonna fit you nicely.

Apparently the S15 is $329. That's...quite the price increase.

Letshuoer must be pretty confident they're bringing the goods here.

Looks like we have our first review anyway https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/letshuoer-s15.26842/reviews

Brighter than the S12?! My treble sensitivity just started tingling thinking about this…

You think the Okavango would be a good fit for my collection?
It wouldn't be redundant?
It was on my radar but thought the SR7, Hype2 and/or Neo 5 would be too similar.
It is definitely aesthetically pleasing.

Doesn't look like it, and hope not. S12 was never my thing due to metallic and bright sound.

Mine is almost here, looking forward to try it.

I just listened to these iems. Brilliant is the word. Such a hidden gem. For that price, I would buy 2 pairs, if that’s sensible.

The build is very premium. The cable is quite good and is modular. Moreover the sound is quite likeable.
I actually bought 2 pairs 😂
