Spent the evening using my S12 for the first time in a few months… maybe the break was nice because I’m remembering why this set made me love IEMs in the first place. It’s missing the bass slam I like but everything else is quite nice. Really bright and analytical, intimate staging, not for your tunes with a lot of bass but a track with a nice sub or good bassline can certainly make your head buzz. I can recommend a headphone if it makes me feel present in the music and the S12 is one of the few that can.

the one thing it cannot hide is the sibilance though. maybe a good thing is forces me to take more breaks listening to music? If you are sensitive this is not the one.

Comply foam tips and FAAEAL Rice cable, pairs quite nicely with the silver details imo.


Kelela - Raven was the album of choice, and has been added to my best of the year list.


I have also recently gotten Qobuz and highly recommend! Obviously not as feature rich as Spotify but I found the quality difference on mobile to be quite noticeable and I like that they sell FLACs directly from their desktop app. I cut down on streaming video apps recently so time to put that effort (and money lol) to filling out my collection. Not so patiently waiting for my Neo 5...

Got the Magic One Yesteryda, was expecting nothing since i am not a very big fan of multi-BA IEMs(only like a few models), so from a single BA setup i was expecting the least. But to my surprise, this one sounds way opposite of what i expected. AFUL has tuned it nicely imo, it sounsd clear and has a good level of excitement to the output. Quite amazing i would say!! Will spent some more time and i will also try to make a graph today and will share it later today as well.

Interesting, the design is good. But the description says custom developed with a local dealer, so i doubt this will make it out of japan in the international market.
