Ah ok. How was the stability and the lag for you? Video lip sync fine?
Well, I only have experience with the BT lag on the Sony 1A and 1Z. So....? I mean I’m no expert in this style of use? But I went to YouTube and filtered though about nine different videos, and to me it is exactly the same lag as the Sony’s have, about 1/16-1/8th of a second? There was one totally out of sync video, but I’m pretty sure it was the video not the BT transfer? So.......but I want to thank-you for these questions as I never thought about using it off a phone and the one thIng is you do have to choose your codec, which is a new thing for me to do, but no big deal once you do it. Maybe also ask others how the improvements are from the last R3 MK1? But all seems really nice, I mean this stuff is always getting better and better, MK2 should have improvements?

$29.99?
But, but I thought the cable was FREE?!?
OR... Is the DSP free and the USB-C connector $29.99?
:money_mouth:

In a different issue, right now my dillema being most music that i listen is youtube concert clips or covers.
Its not gonna on CD or spotify/tidal.

Moondrop is selling cable like any other cable makers,
its just this one have dsp usb-c end instead of 3.5mm or 4.4mm
I’m sure the marketing emphasize is the DSP as SIMGOT just released the EW100 DSP that was priced the same as the 3.5mm regular EW100......only they took the DSP and possibly detuned the EW100 from a 2016 Harman to the 2019 Harman target profile?

If this image to be believed in,

Then TRN is mostly using older BAs (or they are "updated/custom" version or basically old unit with dampers)
this promo image is curiously missing from the the new marketing materials

and its replaced with this image of nondescript BAs instead (and only descriptive BAs "low freq BA" without driver series number)

and yeah no mention of DLP sound tube shell, just "aviation grade aluminium-magnesium shell."
---
while TRN have advantages of "Moar drivers~!", both AS24 and Kumo uses new gen driver who are supposedly better performing + DLP soundtube shells.
well, i guess its depend on the application and tuning.
So the driver count war has started again?

And the Kiwi ears Melody which is a bass focused planar IEM, and of course the Timeless II. The next phase of the planar wars is just starting!
The TimelessAE is often my pick for an enjoyable listen out of my collection and if upcoming planars can improve on this, I'm very excited!
But I much prefer OG's and AE's design to the Timeless2's carbon fibre look.

Only 32 BAs on one side? Why not 64?
It's 16 per side actually, but I agree, let's go with 64 instead so each BA only plays a handful of notes.

Even though there was one or two planar IEMs before the Timeless MK1, it’s safe to say the Timeless created the first planar war. Think about it, the TINHIFI Big Panda, the Hook-X, the S12 the TANGU Zetian Wu.....etc etc would not have been so popular without a push. Then the square planar IEMs like the little Gumiho or the Pandamon. The KZ PRI HiFi would have never existed if it wasn’t for the original Timeless! Then the Moondrop Planar Stellaris......oh wait? The Dioko?

Even though many dislike Hidisz as a brand with their marketing, the new planar from them seem like a winner. Seems like reviews been very positive.

The Letshouer S15 is soon released and shipped to testers/reviews at end of next month. I personally liked S12, even if it was slightly to bright for me.

Do you know the price of the upcoming s15? I liked the s12, needed less power than the Timeless.

My wife loves her Legato, what are the odds that she'll dig the Fatfreq Scarlet Mini?
