Typically don't trust chi-tws but in theory they should be just as good, since China makes everyone else's tws.

BGVP haven't released a new tws since they got into some of their crazier est designs. I know it's a long shot but I'd love to see some cool driver configurations in a tws. Otherwise I doubt there is a point of difference from what already exists.
I just go with Quidelix 5k and the iem of choice. It’s simple and has the clip.

I've been trying to figure out for months how this is any more convenient than having your iem plugged into a phone or DAC. You still have the wires. You still have audio source. You've just also added another clip device.

Juzear 41t (recieved yesterday): flawless, the playing culture is outstanding (close to IEF Neutral target). On top of that, the emphasis on subbass does not make them boring. Great work!

It is for me because it doesn't get in the way of me handling my phone and I can even put my phone down and still have adequate controls over my music.
I can just put a BT dongle in my pocket but I'm constantly handling and putting away my phone. If I have to charge my phone too I'm SOL unless I buy a splitter.

Indeed, BT DAC/Amps are the way to go when on-the-go (pun not intended) if you dislike TWS for any reason.

Also you realise that IEM cables aren't really that in your way if you don't have to wave them around constantly by having it attached to your phone. I used to be one of those who would strap a mojo on the back of my phone but really I can't live that life anymore. 😅
Maybe one day I'll fashion an IEM cable that can hang around my neck as a necklace and I can just plug my BT dongle into.

I like the ability to runaround the house. Yes listening is slightly less but it’s enjoyable. It also lets me charge my iPhone and listen to music at the same time. Not critical listening more convenience. Audeze Maxwell is also great for that but it’s heavy.

I route my cable behind my back and inside my shirt (kinda what singers do), instead of hanging it in front. Then I just clip it wherever I need it to be and then little to no microphonics or tug. It is out and away and not connected to my device. Of course you can have a separate device while having your phone, but I don’t really like carrying a lot, even if I do have a bag and whatnot.

Just took the chance to also test out some resistors, oversized ones.

I always find the intrinsic property of the RC components being overlooked. Here is a Welwyn MFP2 2W 2.2R resistor. It doesn't just attenuate the output and the attenuation is not linear even it is just a 2.2R.

I should have started following people in the Home-Made IEM thread to build my own IEM. I actually attempted but the shells have always been a problem with my ears and I don't want to get a large 3D printer for the job so until then I can only mod some IEMs.
I further fine tuned the 29689 through testing with different types of caps and resistors. Also removed the metal grill and the bass is simply bone crushing. Still a bit bright but I think it sounds amazing now.

Big reason is that when batteries wear out in TWS, you have to throw out the TWS. Buy a wired IEM and use it with a BlueTooth adapter, and you can keep using the IEM.
