It could be that i just dont know what good sound stage or resolution is. Im just starting to learn these new terms and angles. I can hear that variations is really good, but i cant pin point why. I think its separation and the fact that low deep bass dont muddy the rest of sound.

Thats why i wanted to try a iem known for resolution and wide soundstage. I think i will give a all BA iem a chance when i can afford it :D
If you're lookin for all BA IEMs with great imaging, the sony IER-M7 is within your budget and they have great layering imaging. Soundstage doesn't sounded particularly large, but correct as in recording studio with very decent depth.

I still think the M7 holds the layering imaging category in this midfi price range, even compared to Moondrop S8, let over the Variations.

Resolution isn't top notch like TOTLs but no slouch either.

Finally, my much-awaited shipment has arrived, I was waiting for this for the last 20-25 days(it was stuck at customs for the past 15 days), meet the D's Audio Fire Phoenix. It's a single DD iem housing a large 11mm DLC dd unit. Let's have a look first.

2.jpg

This beautiful IEM is hand-crafted to perfection. I went in blind for this and the investment was also quite huge(close to 1000$), On one side I was excited, on the other I was nervous, what if it doesn't come out as expected? what if it's not up to the mark? Both these questions were fighting in my mind since the day I placed an order for these. When I discussed with the maker about how will these sound, he was like a strong bass, wide, big stage, speaker-like sound(the makers are from Hongkong and they are not familiar with English much).
But having auditioned one of their 500$ IEMs, IDK what inside of me asked me to pull the cord and grab this. So the order was placed around the 11th or 12th of last month with the help of @Ace Bee and fast forward to today morning when I received the unit. And my first impression was, Strong, Juicy lower end, the bass is actually very strong and hits hard. The stage is actually massive, it's deep, it's wide, and it shows great separation as well. The experience is truly big and massive in terms of presentation, actually reminding me of the words of the brand representatives!! And I actually liked this pair for its look as well so, Let's have another look at the beauty.

Driving these with my HiBy R6 Pro II and Ace Bee's Shanling UA3 as well. The brand suggests a massive burn-in time of 1000 hours, I will judge the set more after listening to it for 100-200 hours at least :)

I remember someone said it'll be around 100$
Hmm might be!
Although they have a solid IEM in the S12 at that price point.

I recall LetShouer contacted me weeks ago about a new product review, didnā€™t expect thatā€˜s gonna be a very interesting onešŸ˜³

I guess this is the DZ4?
Let me try to get at least the initial impressio part.

Also the highly expected ANC TWS, FIIL CC Pro2 just arrived besides AS24 free replacement unit kindly sent by KZ after I contacted kz officialā€™s customer support for the initial batch that I placed order.

Also just received Technics (Panasonic) AZ60, the predecessor of their latest AZ80, Iā€™m fairly impressed with ANC performance and SQ.

AZ80 is overpriced IMO as they just came out weeks ago, currently going around $300 USD. Meanwhile AZ60 the old flagship is discounted to $89 from $170, and formerly it was much higher.

Even compared to Sennheiserā€™s latest flagship Momentum 3, AZ60 is extremely cost performing for its current asking price. The case is very small and easy to carry around.

Iā€™m waiting Sonyā€™s WF1000-XM4 that Iā€™m interested in.
