Maybe, in 2023, it's still worth to find some Sony's 2016 old portable stuff !!!!

When I bought the NW-WM1A in 2018, I was not imagining I would still be impressed by its sound quality in 2023 (though maybe some Nayparm Mod could helped a bit in 2022 this DAP to reach a real 20 hours Hires (24/96) playing time and move with better impacts the IER-Z1R and now an old dated 2016 XBA-N3)

Since then I bought many DAP's and IEM, where most were significantly overrated (like A&K & Hiby) ...
This Sony's combo is, by a big margin, my most versatile one (also used in LDAC BT receiver mode with a Smartphone Z Fold 4 for any streaming purpose like Qobuz or Home Upnp server access). I would say, it's only for comfortable sleeping purpose, that I use the Sennheiser IE 600 + LC-4.4D + FIIO BTR7 over the pure Sony's combo.
This combo which was my best friend and used to travel for professionnal or family purposes over the world in Europe, Asia, Africa.

After many disappointments these last years, I worry to buy again expensive DAPs and IEMs, though I am still really tempted to give a try to some new DAPs/IEMs.

The Simgot EA500 are freakin incredible.
But throw in the trash the included ear tips and choose longer one.

I actually like the stock tips. They seem identical to the KBEAR 07 tips, at least the stock M size and the KBEAR M blue ones do. But then again, our ears are built differently, so whatever works for you might not be ideal for someone else

The JOYODO SHINE has the almost exact same KZ drivers but they have none of the same markings. Like they (the drivers) are made at the shop right next door!

Actually, it is an open secret that Joyodio is a KZ sister company, or it is an OEM of sorts at the very least. The included KZ starline eartips has already let the cat out of the bag haha. Their rep also refuses to answer straight up when asked if they are associated with KZ, LOL silence means consent?
