I don't have a clue on how to turn the image, so I apologise that the image is in vertical despite it being supposed to be viewed horizontally.
Oh those 三体 and THREE-BODY fonts are identical.

Anyway, not bad if this can be achieved with just one BA. But why is the bass of the Droplet set so much apart from that of the target?

I guess I recall that show, pretty big title in China’s SciFi drama.

That will be sad if Moondrop’s single BA is Chinese-domestic market only😞
I guess gundam box aren't as popular as waifu box. Just kidding

For cases, Vamson does some designed for GoPro cameras. The ones with precut foam aren't very useful, unless you actually want to use them for a GoPro. The reconfigurable ones (new model) are great. If you have more than one size (okay guilty), then you can mix and match the velcro dividers to give more options.

Actually been interested in it, it literally what i want from my N3, slightly lower bass self, more pinna, better detail and better imaging (it have a really bad imaging, but staging is good)
graph - 2023-01-17T123000.603.png
Nitpicking things is precog actually rank them below Sony N3, so would love to see some comparision

The XBA N3 and P5 are quite different beasts.

N3 is much warmer (L shaped even), with a thicker note weight. N3 has much larger mid-bass on tap, though the bass isn’t as tight, with mid-bass bleeding. The P5 is already quite smooth in the treble, but the N3 is much darker.

Even though both are hybrids, the N3 has a more natural timbre, the P5 unfortunately suffers from BA timbre, which is more apparent if you listen to music genres that have a lot of acoustic instruments. I think Sony's secret tuning sauce is putting their foams in the nozzle, most of the BAs in Sony IEMs sound very organic in timbre cause of this.

The N3 also has better coherency, but has worse technicalities (imaging, instrument separation, micro-details and clarity). Otherwise, the soundstage is more expansive on the N3.

The N3 is bullet shaped, meant to be worn cable down. It has driver flex, which isn’t the case with the P5. The P5 has much better passive isolation.

I kinda expect more of Dragon drawing and Legendary character drawing
these are from my favorite online card game Rage of Bahamut. They have All mythology and legendary figures which many of IEMs are named after.
Better than simple girls on the box at least🥱

Did those of you who have received your Sea-Elf get the modules for lightning and USB-C? I only received the three standard modules (3.5, 2.5, 4.4mm). The IEM itself is pretty worthless. Bloated bass, veiled mids thanks to the bloat, and the highs aren't extended enough to offer any balance or even a decently tuned V shaped signature. The cable isn't all that impressive, and feels kinda amateur EXCEPT for the modular ends and the fact it brings up bass and shaves some treble energy, so for the Sands, it's a pretty decent cable EXCEPT it doesn't enhance or even compliment it's soundstage, so there's that. I consider this a complete fail, and I got jipped out of two modules. Very unJapanese like.

Didn't order the DAC modules myself, since it would put 15$ extra per. Bass tightens up some over burn in, it's still not the best controlled. Also quite boosted, don't mind the boosted bass myself. Just wish it dropped earlier in the lower mids.

Did some research and the cable is a entry level cable from them, made well but still just a cheap cobber cable that looks good because of the connections avd fabric sleeve.

Did write a more full review this weekend.

Yep. Overall not worth $70. Oh well...sometimes you take a shot and it doesn't go in. Ok. On to the next discovery.

I just bought this one for my IEM as well. Thought it looks good. I asked the seller of the GoPro case of they sell extra dividers as well. Good find thanks for sharing.

Thats interesting it's not the same cable as the 7N version that looks the same but not modular?

Bad time to get responses from sellers on AE too, with Chinese New Year about to shut everything down.:triportsad:

For whom it may concern and who may be interested in FiiO IEMs

FiiO FH7 - is currently on offer at fiio-shop.de for 299 EUR
>
They're also $279 on AliExpress at the official FiiO store.

thanks to @Orfik

so, on aliexpress they're on offer as well right now

soundnews.net review called it "Genre Masters" - so apparently those rare pokemons exist in the "endgame" mid-fi range that are capable to play everything well and transparently

https://soundnews.net/headphones/iems/fiio-fh7-genre-masters/

Are there any other IEMs in the below mid-fi or mid-fi range that are capable of playing all genres equally well ?

I must have read now close to all reviews that exist out there on the FH7 and they differ quite a lot - interesting how impressions and assessment / estimation diverge

When going with the Harman Target tuning and how close to it the tuning is, it appears, that the Harman target curve isn't equally well suited for all genres

https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/blob/master/results/RANKING.md

e.g. FH7 is rated at 58% and STD / deviation 3.57 - so one interpretation would be that Harman isn't suited for all genres, each genre might need a different tuning

and a different kind of tuning might be capable of play well with all (jack of all trades - master of none), but not equally well (I recall having read that before in reviews)

In the options of sea-elf there are 3 module/5module selection, if you made 3 module selection I guess it only comes with 2.5/3.5/4.4.

LCP drivers need a certain burn-in, right out box it has very poor performance for the most of the case, but it seems you are not fan of qdc tuning so maybe that’s tonality preference after all.

Hakugei is Chinese brand, it uses Japanese word hakugei which stands for White Whale (moby dick)
