So how's everyone storing their IEMs?

I have a watch box, and now I have no clue which iem i have lol.

The Lime Ears series has landed!! Thanks to @He_Is_Emil, @Jaytiss and @MakeItWain for this golden opportunity to get some ear time with these three beauties. Actually, this is twice around the ride for me with the Lime Ears Terra! So I'm getting reunited, and it feels so good! I rated the Lime Ears Terra above the AFUL Cantor and the ISN EBC80 as my favorite IEM of late 2024, just barely nudging the Elysian Noir from that spot in my year end list : Lime Ears Terra > Elysian Noir > AFUL Cantor > ISN EBC80. If I could rearrange it in early 2025, I'd put the EBC80 ahead of the Cantor (just barely), thanks to some tip and cable rolling that benefitted the EBC80. So welcome back! The others are the Lime Ears Maris, and the Lime Ears Incognita! Only had about 45 minutes with each, so not ready to really share my impressions, but I can say one thing....the Maris has a huge stage. Very immersive sound, that's refined, like the Flipears Legion, only with less intrusive mid bass, but with similar treble air and texture.

EDIT : As far as my favorite IEMs go in my rotation, the ISN H60 sits alone at the top. At the time I had the Terra and the Cantor, I did not have my H60 for comparison, as at the time, it was out for loan, so seeing as I rate it higher than the EBC80 to my personal tastes, it would sit #1 on my list, followed by the Cadenza 4, Sennheiser IE900, Dunu Brain Dance, TRN Shell, KZ Decet, and the recently added Letshuoer DX1.

And $54 in china (via Taobao)

If china domestic market will have its own cheaper pricing than much pricier international market, perf/value will be hurt pretty badly

Well Asean have pre existing trade deal with China so we shouldn't got hurt that much.
But due to closure to aliexpress access in my country, there are fewer importer who then they could cartel to artificially raise the damn price

Using these recently, and they are fantastic for storing IEMs. I mostly have these watch boxes like you have there, but soon, I'll be replacing them with these. I like them better, from aesthetics (faux leather) to the zipper seal instead of latches.

What a rip!! Buy the Decet for $50.00, and get better stage and imaging for gaming! Not to mention details.

My box is leather and glass and see through. I like looking at them to see which one to pick
I might need another double decker, maybe 24 cases. Have so many iem laying around.

No sir. Not see thru. It's covered, and I got green too. Just compact, yet roomy on the inside, and a zipper seal vs latches.

I'm happy to say that I'm falling in love all over again with the Lime Ears Terra. When I had them last, I did not have the xDuoo XD05T, or the Nunchaku in my possession when these were last in my care. Also didn't have the Dethonray Clarinet, so there's some key sources that I'm able to introduce to the Terra. These simply speak my language fluently. The TOOBS give it some warmth, and the upper register harmonics are simply awe inspiring, as is the resolution. Now the mid bass punch still isn't there, but note resolution is, as is that HUGE soundstage and keen layering/depth. Still impressive.

Ugh, I need to vent for a second. I love how in the ‘sound’ section the only things discussed are power/impedance/noise. Also, how can you be so lacking in intuition that you don’t know that the ‘folder’ section is where you’re supposed to go for playing albums in order. Jeez.

Super* doesn't believe much in source changing. He believes in Power Impedance, etc. bringing the major changes. I was surprised with his video of R8ii and R4 where he said no difference.

Folder indeed, but it looks like he ended up finding it in the TF card file. Now, I wouldn't buy a xDuoo DAP again anyways, and the X5 had a disqualifier for me, that I can't remember what it is (I keep forgetting what it exactly is). @Redcarmoose actually mentioned it when we were first discussing it when it was announced, and he reminded me, but I sold my old Xduoo in boomerang fashion, not due to the sound, which was fantastic, but the UI was totally janky, and no album art feature. Just a graphic visualizer type thing. Sounds like this one is also sorta janky.

Terra looks great and sounds even better. I'm in love with it, and the more time I spend with it, the more I'm feeling inclined to sell a couple of my gears and pick it up, but I might wait until CJ and pick it up along with another IEM? It's simply sounds stellar, and the soundstage is both wide and deep.

Super* doesn't believe much in source changing. He believes in Power Impedance, etc. bringing the major changes. I was surprised with his video of R8ii and R4 where he said no difference.

He's been that way for years. Since the NW-A45, which I PTT on partly based on his rec (when we both had less grey hairs lol), and even then, he said he doesn't hear a difference between daps, and it was right after that I stopped taking his dap recs. If you don't hear a difference....???? Of no use to me. I still dig his vids though, his personality, and his occasional IEM rec.
