That's next. Though as a sneak peek....I prefer the KZ ZS12 Pro X.Now if you could compare within it's price bracket, VX pro+ vs ZS12, it'll be more helpful (till the next Pokémon at least)
Thanks for the heads upOh for all my homies and hominas here at Head-fi. I forgot to post this, but got reminded as I just got a full refund for my purchase from Alix. Their CS was efficient and worked very quickly to return my money and cancel my order. So someone posted this store in this thread, and they had a really good deal (super deal) on a Hidizs dap. Normally I check the store, but they were advertised in the 50% off deals section, and this store "seller" was able to disguise their rating (it was 100% with over 1,000 followers), plus I confused the "cross promotion" for store item reviews. After I ordered, I got the spider sense tingling, and I went back in and did further inspection, and I started seeing all the reviews with FAKE TRACKING NUMBERS and I HAD TO GET A REFUND. Sure enough, my item "shipped", and it was a FEDEX number. I looked it up, and it was showing it was processed in Georgia. A Chinese store with product in Georgia? This is Ali, not Amazon. Then I see that the destination address is in New Jersey! LOL I live a long way from NJ. Luckily, I got my money back, but the whole hassle was annoying. Almost 10 years of ordering from Ali, and this is only the second time I got wrangled. The last time was years ago, and in the last week. Be wary of Alix sellers, look for their store EST date, and go right to reviews. Even then, nothing is foolproof.

The Mega5EST is finally in stock over at the good guys headphones.com! Just ordered mine!
This looks fantastic, but it's a single DAC chip, vs dual dac chips for the R3 II.Thanks for the heads up.
Hidizs AP80-Pro X is great and all but will only do a 512Gb SD Card. So maybethis below
could be on the cards instead.

The M1 plus looks like a stunning little device. Shame they haven't put something else on the picture to give a bit of scale. Suspect that is similar in size to my old Plenue D (Which is still going strong after all these years!).Thanks for the heads up.
