What are the tentative app support?
MTouchOS usually has a primitive version of Tidal for WiFi stream with no downloads.

It can play from the apps on your smartphone using a supported protocol.

Nice and sleek in a small form factor...many DaP makers need to get on board with styling like this and stop making small DaPs look like Creative Zen players from the 2000s

Is there a 20,000 track cap on the music library?

How does this stack up against the M1S?

M1 Plus offers better DAC, better amplifier, much more power, better form factor.

M1 Plus will also be normally available from all Shanling Sellers, not limited to Aoshida like M1s.

It looks great!

Will there be much difference in sound compared to the m5u or is the price difference based more on power differences?

They are using completely different DACs, amplifiers and overall approach to audio design. M5 Ultra and XM5 are both a significant step up in sound quality.

Is there a 20,000 track cap on the music library?

Yes, 20 000 files limit for music library.
Unlimited for folder browsing.

what is the maximum SD Card Storage Capacity? 512Gb, 1Tb, 2Tb?

2TB.
