but is it as skinny as that phone? The positive I see with it is that it's super slim. so that makes it more pocket potable. As Mr Moondrop said..."phone sucks, but DAP rocks."
That thing is too chonky to be a "phone like DAP." I think that's what he was referring to? A skinny phone like DAP, but without the phone components. That Hiby is chonky and a battery waiting to blow up.

The concept of a phone with a good implementation of DAP-level audio is really great, but with a single but relatively significant drawback. I'm referring to the battery life, since the phone works 24/7. With full use of the DAP feature, the battery will degrade so quickly that more frequent service replacements will be required. I give the first battery 2 years max (or less). I am therefore a fan of separate solutions. Otherwise, for a 4.4 balanced output they have my respect and the price seems excellent (if everything works as it should).
I'm waiting for them too.
After much hesitation I took them
(I didn't hesitate because of the product itself,
but because of the too large amount of material coming out on the market which 'diverts' my purchases).
Hey guys! I just published my review on TSMR X! It is my first review for the brand and oh boy these guys know their stuff. Have a read if you pls!! TIA!
Very enjoyable read. Morning tunes and coffee went perfectly with your review. Well written, enjoyable flow, hit all the capabilities and made me add the TSMR X to my investigate list.
I feel the same way about switches that you did. I'll try them out eventually. Thanks.
I've seen forum reports of these 4.4 mm to 2.5 mm adapters snapping off at the 2.5 mm portion cause it is thinner. Indeed, an awkward twist or snag when using a dongle on-the-go is not unexpected.
Anyway market forces will dictate everything. I suspect the 2.5 mm market is smaller than 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm, so we will see how sales go, which is the chief barometer.
