Chipping + Rusting after 3 months use of my Aria II. As a victim of the Aria One, I am speechless, and the volume of the left unit is diminishing too ! How on earth this company still survive !?

I experience the chipping and paint bubbling, but that rusting... i only heard about it, but seeing it here. Wow.

Anyhow, finally got mine.

I just recieved it i haven't done anything to it yet other than trying out some songs.
i put Dunu S&S that is on my current daily KZ-PR2v2 and my go to Hibiscus balanced.

First impression are cleaner bass. Noice. One thing that irks me in Castor Bass are fixed in this thing.
It feels like better quality bass too. I guess that dedicated sub-bass DD does make difference.
Notes have decent weight to it and the stage+imaging are nice with some proper depth to it which elevate the sq even more.
I can see why it got hyped.

I've read several suggestion on the switches, but how about the eartips? any suggestion?

Rusting is new to me too ! Never experience rusting from any other brands.

It is one of the reasons but appearing in Google search results is a lot more complicated than you might think.

If you search for a review and you appear after the prompt "we have excluded some search results do you want to repeat the search including them?" , then publishing the same content at Headfi is the main reason for getting excluded.

I have a couple of kilobuck iems and while they are terrific I don't feel the %improvement is worth it for me. I enjoy the midfi game and love collecting. Quite a few have come so close to the Kilobuck level for me ESPECIALLY as I prefer musicality over details. My signature of choice is warm, bassy and lush timbre which is serviced by the midfi sector rather well.

The nimble and detailed bass is present in the Wu Zetian, but was extremely pronounced in the EA1000, and can be in the IE800 and N5005, but the EA1000 was a specialist in that type of bass delivery. It's the opposite of the insanely punchy OD200, which I was listening to last night, and is so heavy handed and punch punch punch, but lacks finesse. Aure's are right smack dab in between the EA1000 and OD200.

My EA1000 is still travelling somewhere, hopefully it's having a cracking time, but I sure hope it reaches me soon ... Very excited, actually. And even more now to see how I feel about it's passive-radiator-enhanced bass.

Sure! LOAK2CL has a bigger sound all around, and more enhanced everything. The bass is deeper, and midbass has a stronger punch, may come off as tad bit to strong sometimes. But it ison the faster side so it does not overstay. Midrange is a bit recessed, mostly the lower midrange, but still pretty clean and clear. Upper midrange has slightly extra energy that takes some time to get accustomed to. Details are considerably more pronounced. The treble is more energetic and more detailed, with more extension. The soundstage is more enveloping - more width, height and depth all around.

Thank you, sir, oh I did not realise it was so energetic in high mids/low treble. Not sure I need this much energy from my single DDs.

I feel like this is a good place for a review of an IEM that is tough to find! The Icelabs Prismatica. I got it at canjam for about $1299 USD and it's a wonderful set!

I am with you, Peacock. I ike the MidFi IEMs. Have several hi end IEMs, but buying only midFi IEMs this year . Can you tell me your dollar range for purely mid fi IEMs?

MagicOne has been the only aesthetically pleasing Aful imo. The prototype Cantor looked way cleaner.
