I've somewhat comes to terms that planars aren't my thing. Tried the S12 and Heyday but neither sounded great to me? I am somewhat interested in the F1 Pro though. Might be my last shot at planar
Well, the F1 Pro has the fit thing down, and they look cool with a simple elegance IMO? I have not heard any too pricy Planars, though the Hook-X was also nice and the low cost TIN HIFI P1 Max AKA Big Panda was super great at vocals and the bass came alive after burn-in. But the way the rhythm works with Planar IEMs is special, to me anyway? The F1 Pro actually capitalized on Planar movement in rhythm.......IMO? And it has mood, mood is priceless. IMO

if the Galileo had a bit more bass and treble extension, I would have chosen it over the EA500 LM.
I'm in that position right now, I really enjoy the Galileo but I just wished it had a little more body to it with a bit more bass and bass extension. Still enjoying the vocals on it though, they're super nice.

Would definitely be keen to see what people feel is a good logical upgrade from the Galileo, if you guys have any recommendations.

Looks massively badass basshead, may be more basshead than other basshead IEMs! Treble looks very dark too.

If any of you are interested in the AFUL MagicOne, it is available on sale through Amazon for $110.
One of the best recent releases in the sub $200 category imo

The QoA Aviation graphs similarly to the Galileo, with the rolled-off bass and treble. I haven't heard it other than YouTube sound comparison videos (which never should be an authoritative source), but it seems to be a $200 Galileo.

Anyone who has heard the Galileo and Aviation, please chime in ...

The Galileo is SO close for me. But the bass extension just isn't there, and I could use a touch more treble detail. Female vocals are deluxe, while male were very good but can get a smidge shouty depending on the track.

My problem with the Galileo is that Timmy (Gizaudio) played it too safe with the tuning. He needed to extend a bit on both ends. The Galileo isn't compressed, but it feels chopped off. There's too much information crammed into the midrange due to the lack of bass and treble extension.

My search for Goldilocks continues, and now I'm zeroing in on the Penon Fan 2. Everything I've read indicates it's a more technical but still very musical listen. Kind of what I sought from the Galileo and didn't quite get. A Galileo 2 with more extension at both ends could be KILLER at $130.

Depends on where you live?
Okay, just logged in and tried, it seems like my memory failed me, I was not charged sales tax, probably some other Chinese websites.

Ok. You mad lads talked me into it.
Jk.
I talked myself into it!
I am a sucker for deals like this.
I had some rewards points from HiFiGo as well.
Been curious about the single "Magic" BA anyways.
