I'm in for one. Why not.

Thanks for taking one for the team!

TANCHJIM ORIGIN
Looks like the Oxygen?

This Tanchjim Origin is purportedly the Oxygen 2.

I think @captainmuffins AKA Superchonk reviews has heard it at a Chinese Can Jam, so maybe he can advise us on the sound?

I was just informed that there is not a single Chifi IEM that can compete with the quality of the IER M9, not even to M7 :)

Hmm, I wasn't aware of that.

Would you agree with that?

Cheers!

IMO, the M9 is a TOTL IEM that can hold up to modern day TOTL, even though it is like 3 - 4 years old. It is my erstwhile endgame IEM for now, and certainly it has top notch tonality (warm neutral) with superb imaging and natural timbre for an all BA set (Sony damps the nozzle with foam to remove BA timbre).

But I have to say it isn't the most classleading in micro-details or soundstage. So there are other CHIFI that can beat it in these departments eg QDC Anole VX has better resolution.

M9 and M7 are for performing on the stage, not for front house or monitor mixing like U6t / U12t, I assume?

Yes you are right. But they are also decent for audio work as they are quite neutralish with good technical performance.

god damn I need to brush up on my metal sciences before coming here now? lol chillllll
Well, if he's anywhere close to being accurate, then he has a point of warning us. Same as when HiFri or whatever his name is opened up the damaged Mangird and stated that one of the drawbacks of bio-cellulose membranes is their tendency to stiffen and get stuck when introduced to moisture, so they have a high chance of failure if you don't keep them dry?

I wonder if this one can do gapless playback?

Do you want to be a proud and exclusive owner of a limited edition KZ (CCA) pokemon?

Supposedly, there are only 100 of this pokemon in the wild. And it is a 3DD pokemon with the usual crowbarred 4 tuning switches.

Also, it is purportedly claimed to be a LEGENDARY rare pokemon.

Can you imagine all the jealous glances from audiophiles when you bring this rare KZ pokemon to audio meets or even to Can Jam? Well, unfortunately the bragging rights might only last a week or so, cause a Pro version of this pokemon might appear next week.

Eh but tbh here, CCA have more banger iem than KZ, so ...

If KZ/CCA are making so much money each year then why bother with 100 x $30 = $3,000?

The Celest Plutus Beast is fun and weird! Big bone conduction driver(along with a BA and Square Planar) for only 90$. Not a lot of treble space, but bass space instead? Very odd tingly sensation that makes it feel active and fun.

Theyre also insanely sensitive, and they're the first IEM I've owned that has a noticeable noise floor when they're not on clean power.

Outside of all that, they look so dang good.

Not sure bro. Wow are you into SACDs? That's quite a niche format, don't think it is easily available nowadays.

Ok you guys ready for a discovery?

I have the first CIEM from Hisenior to sport thier new ABV ( Ambient Vent ) System

This is a big deal.

If your familiar with 64 Audio and FiR Audio as well as FATfreq you know about thier vent systems.

It uses swappable modular vents to restrict or allow air pressure and sound leakage out or in depending on the modular used.

Mostly this effects the bass but also of course the mids and highs to a variant degree.

This "Tech" has only been available on IEM's over $1000 plus.

That's why it's a big deal because Hisenior can do this for $350 in a CIEM and the extra modules are $40 vs $100+ from 64

It works , it sounds great and to top it off it you wanted the tuning switches in addition to the vent system your get a whole lot of tunability.

I chose a T4 Model I loved the sound of and made a CIEM with this Tech.
Hisenior nailed it.

More impressions to come.
What. A. Thing 🥰

I have been on the edge of going for the T4 for a while and I think you just tipped me over that edge..

Is Hisenior currently one of the most underrated companies?

About 5 years ago, I bought a few Hisenior IEMs, mostly to use as stage monitors. Their stuff were pretty neutralish, good isolation and decent technicalities. Boring for normal music, but good for audio work.

But have since sold them all away to fund other purchases, as all the multi BAs I got from them seem to have BA timbre. I've not tried any of their newer offerings though.

Design looks spectacular!! Although I have recently tried the Okavango, I am particularly not very happy with the sound. It has that BA Tone and also Bass is not upto my taste particularly. Hope the T4 is better in that regard.
