Stucking too many BAs inside one shell with no coherence? That's definitely not new considering TRN's history :)

Looks like an NX7 type situation. Using lots
of drivers requires a larger shell to handle the resonant qualities and produce a more coherent sound. Jamming lots of drivers into a shell with no space seems to destroy both coherence and stage width/depth.

That is like me too, each IEM is a poem and they read slightly different as the years pass by. Not to downplay any first reality experienced, but in time they slowly change (a tiny amount) with my listening and experience as a reference.
For me it'll take years to listen to everything I got

Sound Rhyme DTE900 has landed, first impression is very good. Got that wow factor straight from the go, will come back with more impressions later once I have tried it more.

I would love to (eventually)see how they compare against your Aurora! No rush of course.

Wich other iems do you have?
I compared the Quintet to the Truthear HEXA, IMR Splash of Gold, 7Hz Timeless, Sound Rhyme SR5, Tansio Mirai Sands and a lot of chifi.

Only the Sands has a better resolution thanks to BA treble details. I do prefer planar treble so despite less details i like the Quintet more.

Of your list i only have Timeless and Hexa.
could you rank now both? (Tonality=sound most coherent and realism..is better) (techincallities=an overall of features of dynamics, resolution, soundstage, imaging)

Timeless:
Quintet:
Hexa:

Thanks!!!

I prefer planar drivers and I prefer speed and a neutral sound with bass boost. Timeless and Quintet are very resolving. To really shine they need powerful amps. I use a R2R dac, tube pre-amp and a solid state amp as final stage to drive them. They sound really good with tubes.

The Hidizs MP145 arrived at my house when I was on vacation and have spent almost two weeks in the post offices until I have arrived in my city to pick them up. I could have enjoyed them during my trip but it didn't arrive in time.

Today I have made the "unboxing" photos of rigor and the pertinent measurements.

Now, finally, I have been able to try them. I've only had three songs and it's too early to venture any impression about the sound that may be accurate, especially when I've barely listened to music for two weeks and I still haven't put on the reviewer's chip...

On a physical level the capsules are great. But the projection of the mouthpieces does not allow them to touch any part of the ears, depending on the tips used. They also seem heavy, but in the ears the sensation disappears, as usual in other metal capsules. I really liked the cable and, at last, I have a balanced Hidizs cable with a 4.4mm plug as standard.

About the sound I will say that it is closer to the NiceHCK F1 than to the LetShuoer S12. It's clearer and more spacious than the S12s, with a bit more detail... But these are only very initial impressions, which should be taken with a pinch of salt and having used only the standard gold-plated mouthpiece.

On the other hand, it looks like there is already pre-sale pricing and at $109 they seem like a great option to me.

The information provided to me has been:

1. Launch (On kickstarter) Date: September 6th
2. Super Early Bird Price: $109

Eterno:
Tonalidad B, tecnicismos A

Quinteto:
A Tonalidad, S Tecnicismos

Hexa:
B- Tonalidad, B Tecnicismos

Ohh thanks! For my experience planars like Raptgo and Timeless are very good but i feel dynamics arent good.

I would like to have golden ears to justify over-priced equipment.

Happily I haven't 😂

@Tzennn I'm 100%edm right now
Want to read something ridiculous?

The one and only reason I want the FATfreq Maestro SE is the tuning. That's it. And I'd actually have to repair somewhere around 50 cellphones where I live just to buy ONCE.

Oh lord.

Have to say, FATfreq Maestro has a really special FR, I think is unique. Maybe the closest one its the LEGATO. So I could understand the effort.

But Im being honest when I prefer to spend less on an iem with similar tuning/settings without regrets.

Sub100, sub300 and sub500 (with some exceptions) are more than enough to have a "real" perspective of Hifi.

Anyways, Its talking a guy with more that 60 iems on the closet, and another "small" collection on headphones in other one.
Don't join to my madness, mate. 😂

I'd say I'm probably doing very well on the last point. I still am holding onto the BLON BL-03 3 years later and only somewhat recently I bought a HiFiman HE400se for indoor usage.

Of course I'd rather wait for that tuning to trickle down... Unfortunately, I'm afraid I may die of old age waiting for that to happen. So maybe I'll have to pull a "Fine, I'll do it myself".

So for the time being, I could use an extremely isolating IEM and I assume the best one for that in a budget is the $90 or so ER2XR. Then EQ the bass beyond what it passively has and hope I don't get farting noises out of trying it.

So to me the ultimate IEM for me would be an ER2 with Maestro bass.

Or at least I assume Etymotic is still the way to go if you want supreme noise isolation.

Hermano, How many IEM do you have at home? Is it possible to listen to all of them?
Not really. Not for me anyways. I got so many, most languish in the wooden box. I usually rotate between 5-8 sets, and ever blue moon, I'll break out something old just to reminisce. Most of that stuff is getting sent at a deep discount or free for reviews, so after the initial listen, I bet most of those things go right into the drawer while awaiting the next FOTM?

I found the bass of the ER2XR disappointing compared to even the BL03. You might do better just getting some good-fitting foam or hybrid tips for isolation.
