Hey everyone. Looking for a IEM recommendation. I have a set (Single now as I lost one and am pretty devastated about it) of Moondrop blessing 2's that I actually purchased from a user here.
Im a bass head, but I also range out into other edm genres, and sometimes metal. Also loads of podcasts. I think Im mainly looking for a fat punch of crisp bass. The blessing 2's did decent, but I feel there are better options for replacement.

I was considering the Moondrop blessing 3's and they are about where my budget sits but Ive seen mixed reviews. 300ish bucks. Driving with a Qudelix 5k.
Thanks!

(Edit: I have seen a few of these similar recommendations the last few pages, so I have a couple ideas. Just looking for more around my price range)
Maybe look into the new ISN Neo 5, mid bass energy might be more than you are used to coming from B2.

Stellar boosted bass with mids that are on thicker side but superb. Great with EDM and Metal in my book. Podcast depends, podcast for clear and nice sound maybe just own a leaner bass set like Wan Er?

Use it at work now, ignore the cable as its a Xinhs. Stock cable is great in Neo 5.

Depend on how you want to monitor (i mean preference), but there should be some coloration here and there to make you know if you're doing correct or not (especially when it come to lower treble), spacing and separation in mid range is also crucial so i don't necessary think flat means monitor. If every song that you played sound flat, that means there's something inherently wrong with the iem
Edit: i mean some people think flat is when everything being shown to you, every detail just go up the surface (Hexa) and not FR, so ...
it plays a lot more fun with the weak source, I had a hard time writing the review. Some things were really hard to define. yes, I have reviewed many iems before, but I was not too busy with this kind of sound character. i had a hard time figuring out what to reference, as I usually review hybrid or balanced iems not far from fun. experience has been

I like Audiosense AQ4 or TRI I3Pro for bass heavy listening. IKKO OH10 and ISN D10 have a pretty good reputation for bass as well.:L3000:

Yeah.
This happens all the time.
Birds cannot always hold on to the things they drag through the air.
Not that long ago an owl dropped a chicken onto our roof...no kidding...

Cheers.

Was it an African or a European swallow?

Blessing 3 and basshead are not in the same sentence. I recommend having a look at Aful P5, along other options that I mentioned previously.
Wellllllllllll, technicaly you just proved yourself wrong. xD
But I agree at least in the stock tuning. with EQ you can get nice bass quantity out of it. Since the Quality of the 2DD bass is actually pretty good, it is just not boomboom

the dual dynamic driver trend didn't last long, i personally think hybrid iems are on the rise again. planar products are not talked about much these days, fiio also has planar works. i thought that planar iems would reach serious levels in the market of mid-range products, i guess it didn't.
