Thanks! Interesting $192 with discounts here. Hmm debating if I need more high-end dongles🤔 The circuit design surely is intriguing 👀
Yeah, it’s tempting because I’ve never experienced anything R-2R before, so that’s a hole that needs filling and therefore adds value.

Even if a Sonion BA cost a maker $200.00 each (which they are NOT), then at $1,600, they would essentially be doubling their profit. All these kilobuck companies are ripping people off, and those selling them above $2,000 are nearly criminal in pricing. Now I say that with a caveat. which is free market, charge what you will, but philosophically, it's a complete crock.

Standard markup across most retail is 2/3. So an item that costs $25 to make will typically sell for $75 retail.

I thought it was more like 4X!...

No doubt. 2/3 is just a rule of thumb.

Interestingly, it seems consumers are getting wise about price-to-performance.

Guys, just lurking, but when Musikteck lists a new multi kilobuck IEM they usually sell out!

The price of some of the Kilo buckets dont match the performance, and it makes sense since these companies have overhead to cover.
Since most of the companies use more or less the same driverpool, this price range is really strange. Therefore I like KZ's basic aprroach, with all their inadequateness, mentioning tuning, stock cable or QC.

Roughly ‘more or less the same driverpool’.
Even the tuning counts, the crossover, the cable, the accessories..
without taking anything away from KZ.

after you add into cart, 30/3 upto $9 discount applies aside from coin discounts.

You have 6 days to decide 😮👌
I’m still debating myself.
Also, AE universal codes: "US15" &"US30"
I used the "US30" (for orders over $200) already, so I only have the "US15" left

1-bit duo. The arrival of the Cayin N7 review tour unit and the Cayin RU7 coincided, so I can directly compare these two. So far, the N7 sounds quite unique, especially the treble. Will focus on the RU7 during the weekend, so more impressions to follow.

That’s great to know!

Hmm you got me, I will use US30 and order RU6😆

Err they don’t take US30, says “it didn’t met minimum amount” So I used US15.

Looking forward to compare with W2😄

There are new RU7 and W4 but I think they are over priced at this moment, so I wouldn’t touch.
