Hello everyone, I haven't read any reviews of the EPZ K5 yet, which I find very nice in green. There is only a recent and positive one from Akros, which associates it for sound characteristics with Sound Rhyme SR5. He finds the K5 even better, which is quite a statement considering the huge hype in SR5 thread. I can't wait to receive my unit, although I won't be able to compare it to the SR5.

That’s probably from same factory, Sound Rhyme factory offers several other side brands, nice green shell😍

Hi folks, just did an A/B test between my sources and the ultra-super-ridiculously-expensive L&P P6 Pro. I quote the impressions below in case you guys are curious.

I don't understand how L&P did it. I don't know what objective measurements reflect what I hear. But I'm mad that it sounds that good. The SA6II is quite good, but I must say it has been carried a lot by the P6 Pro as well. It does not sound that great with KA3.

Anyhow, the moral of the story is: look at the source used by reviewers. I even tested the JD3 with P6 Pro and that even that IEM can sound punchy, dynamic, and somewhat 3D with the P6 Pro, just like Final Audio E5000 can sound crisp and technical when driven by A&K SP2000T.
It's crazy that I was listening to One Winged Angel OST from FFVII Remake when I read this post.

A $3,900 TotL DAP better outperform a mid-tier DAP, a $200 DAC/amp, and a $72 dongle. :dt880smile:

It is shocking how good DAPs can dramatically improve a quality IEM's SQ and bring out their true potential.

Heyday for 1/4 price 😏
You know how to convince people! Purchased
Especially because in KZ store with early bird discount $39.10 - $40.80
https://www.kztws.com/products/kzxhbb-pr2 discount after adding to basket

To be exact, KZxHBB PR2 is 1/5 the price of Heyday, so I would not expect a miracle. But if the tuning is similar it could be an interesting proposition. Especially for those who like planar drivers.

Of course, a published FR graph is produced on a measuring rig with an unknown source. A potential purchaser will be using a different source, different cables, different signal and ear anatomy is not taken into account. Not very helpful!
If you buy a set blind without ever hearing it for yourself that’s true of graphs, personal impressions…everything you find here online in a forum. Me giving an opinion saying “This IEM is bright” means as much as that squiggly graph does.

So unless you never ever buy any transducer without listening to them it’s the user’s job to interpret all the information available to them.

I don’t know… maybe the link is inactive but Superbuy found the active link for the same product using smart searching or something.

What!? 20BA? Any link?

Mail delivery today of the flashy Penon Vocal cable.

Also very funny that there has been much talk about measurements today, since I got mine delivered today :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

What I actually bought it for was to try and measure the BC2023 and the filter/nozzles, also maybe some light modding on cheap IEMs forward.

I'm assuming my PR1 Pro has a PCB board, that's missing in the exploded view
&
Since most of the "Improvements" are cuts in the FR, I can use a PEQ on my PR1 Pro, to get the same results

That's true, but there is always doubt about how a graph is interpreted. Often things are extrapolated which quite simply cannot be so.
