John Wick can use everything as a weapon 🔫💪

On another note I have the Venture Electronics Zen 3.0 earbuds and Megatron when I'm home today. First step into earbuds other than cheap smartphone accessories.

Excellent choice! Looking forward for your impressions, especially the comparison between megatron and your HiBy R6

Pressure build up in the Orchestra Lite is real, but I get used to it after awhile, but I think every internet reviewer mentions this issue. No venting. Pressure.

I know the pressure build up thingy is a pain for general consumers, but it is actually a desired trait for stage monitoring, to give greater passive isolation.

Many IEMs for stage use are unvented (or even if they are vented, it is via indirect tubes), as the vents let in noise. And a concert can easily hit 120 dB or more, so this increased isolation protects hearing health and also let's one tune down the music to the lowest level to hear appreciable details.

The Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite is actually meant for stage monitoring:

Anyways, I tried it at CanJam Singapore and was quite impressed with the Orchestra Lite. Great tonality and technicalities, maybe just some whiff of BA timbre.

The earbuds rabbithole is treacherous to the wallet! Are you sure you wanna enter??? Better leave before it is too late (speaking from firsthand experience).

I ordered two sets of these from Ma. They got sent out, and should be here in the next two days?
Did you order the two sets separately? I have one set and wanted to order more, because they sound great with Tri I3 Pro, but the shipping cost setup is quite strange at least for me.

If I order 1 set, I pay € 2.57 extra for shipping. For 2 sets it's € 9.84 !
Normally you pay less shipping for larger quantities.

Oh my..
You HAVE TO try TGXEar or RikuBuds. They are out of this world..
Dirt cheap (especially compared to TOTL IEMs), as well.

What's more, Riku ships his buds from Sweden!

Nice didn't know they came out from Sweden, do you know where? Depending on where I could take a trip .

I have a friend who is big with earbuds, he reccomended the new Zen 3.0 over Serratus for my taste.

And I were not supposed to buy it originally, struck a deal with Lee. Where originally just looking for a audio gift for my wife, but I might take it myself 😅

This isn't the place for these types of posts or for your attempt at placating or rationalizing the arguments. This is NOT a thread for caustic discussions or arguments or debates or drama. This is a thread for sharing discoveries, reviews, and spotlighting audio technologies both new and old. So please try and refrain from long winded diatribes as an apologist. Want to do these things? I'm sure there's plenty of watercooler type threads here where you can get your debate and argument kicks and feel refreshed about it afterwards?
I disagree because this is the discovery thread, not the opinion thread. You could go create an audio opinion thread and then police that to prevent rational discussions and consensus though. One of the values of this thread is understanding what has been discovered and having discussions about them with people who might not agree.

You would need to contact him directly, as Riku isn't comfortable with sharing that much info publicly.

Sounds intriguing.
I got myself Serratus over a week ago and I'm still in awe of them, though they may appear a little too harsh /cold for some people.

Guys, we've been had! Tangzu is fooling everyone and their marketing is total BS.

They said it themselves! Their "nano carbon" DD, according to the MSDS THEY SHARED consists of 99.99% PET and 0.01% carbon... THATS 1/100th of 1%!

For anyone confused, that is LITERALLY the absolute least amount of carbon they could have used in the driver and still call it "nano carbon"

No wonder both DD sound the same and no wonder the factory got confused! Because It also allows them to use either driver interchangeably without anyone knowing and without any change in price and quality!

In my opinion this is a totally shame and deceptive marketing. You're paying more money for a cheaper driver and that driver is 1/100th of a percent different from the wan'er driver.

Nano carbon my ass! No wonder they didn't call it carbon nano tube or DLC! It's because it contains so little carbon that they can't without false advertising.

In my opinion it's called nano carbon because it contains exactly one nano molecule of carbon per driver. 🤣

And everyone gave them praise for coming out about the driver. Hah! What a joke. They just played themselves.

Recycled shell, recycled driver, new coat of paint, rinse and repeat.

Oh well, at least it sounds okay.

Edit: don't get me wrong, I could care less that they reused the driver, I would actually like if more companies reused their good drivers...

MY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY CALLED IT A "NEW DRIVER" AND CALLED IT "NANO CARBON"

They didn't want people to know they reused the driver so they lied and called it new and then added 0.01% carbon so it was "technically different".

Very understandable @happyblack

I am used to headphones and IEMs, it will be fun see how earbuds bridge the differences.
