Big bass not only balanced things out, i literally call this harman. It really balanced! So is it a shrieking banshee or caterwauling cat? I know the big bass may balance things out, but 15 dB pinna gain is gonna make its presence felt!
Maybe it should be called "pinna pain" instead of pinna gain

TRN did do a great job with the TRN TA1 MAX. It was both a simplistic and original design being a DD and a Knowles BA, plus open-back! Let’s hope they do it again?
Pretty confusing to release the MT4 and then the TA3 at almost the same time.
I have heard a number of qdc models and ended choosing the Anole V3. The reason they often are overlooked here is they don’t always offer the typical value that we look for in a Chinese IEM. My 2 pairs of Anole V3’s were over $500 each. I ended buying a second pair worried about the mortality of the first pair.Have they ever produced any hit beside Anole VX? I can’t recall any decent budget offering from them. The neptune or something like that did not fly, afaik
Though now you can find a newer model called the Anole V3 MK2 for around $400.00. They are super well made and fit fantastic. It’s BA bass yet done really well. Still I have not heard the MK2 model? They really are the public 1/2 of audio production of the Chinese Military. Somehow they also charge a lot for shipping adding at times over $100 to the cost of their IEMs. Still they are great quality and have a loyal following here.

Hi, has anyone used this adaptor from KBEAR, and can advise how durable/long lasting they are? I've had one DDhifi one die on me, and the other one has become a bit loose:

Is this the 2.5mm -> 4.4mm adapter?
I have had one of these for about a year, so far no issues. But then again, I baby my stuff, never use them while exercising and always storing them in hard cases when on the go.
I'm more worried about other adapters with a 2.5mm male port, those are so thin I've seen reports of the 2.5mm pin snapping.
I'm curious how many they have in stock, perhaps IMR will go away from the limited amount as they usually do.
Huge sound, bold but fun. Impressive basshead IEM.

Good question.
A few days ago, at the suggestion of a guy here,
I tried to buy from the manufacturer's ebay shop, but unfortunately he didn't actually have any available (he had forgotten to update the stock),
and therefore had to cancel the order.
I hope I can get them this time.
It seems crazy to buy in Asia a product built in Europe where I live, but that's globalization.
I hope it's worth it (I think I'm a bass-head).
I also bought one of these besides the DDHiFi - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32991201529.html.Hi, has anyone used this adaptor from KBEAR, and can advise how durable/long lasting they are? I've had one DDhifi one die on me, and the other one has become a bit loose:
So far (I bought it 4 months ago) it works perfectly.
Struggling to purchase the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite. Reviews have been a little mixed. Weak base mentioned by some. Not recommended for bands like Radiohead among others. Not sure about investing even 229 on these?
P.S. I wanted a balanced set, so I bought it for my instrumental interest.

Soft in the low end, P5 is the same price. For me it would have been a better set. He called it similar to variations but softer bass.Struggling to purchase the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite. I wanted the original Kiwi Ears so I bought it. I am not worried about base in regard to what I play, but I like some of the bands he said this would not sound good on.Soft in the low end, P5 is the same price. HBB knows much, but still everybody doesn't always agree with him. It has a very smooth 4k range, and softer low end. If the bass where more strong, the 4k region would be bothersome for my music(not enough energy)
If you prefer more bite to your music the new Kiwi will probably be boring. Very personal opinion ofc.

While I do like uniqueness, I do trend to balanced or neutral.HBB knows much, but still everybody doesn't always agree with him. It has a very smooth 4k range, and softer low end. If the bass where more strong, the 4k region would be bothersome for my music.

As expected Orchestra Lite is Neutral reference monitor style tuning. I like the calm bass floor.Soft in the low end, P5 is the same price. For me it would have been a better set. He called it similar to variations but softer bass.
Did HBB mention about detailed driver specs?

I agree with you here, 4k region to me always feel transparent and fragile, which will make you want more bite from 5k peak, it also make the bass feel less prominent. The good things is, cymbal will sound more natural, clear line between mid and treble so it's more engaging. Again, grain of salt, grain of saltWhile I do like uniqueness, I do trend to balanced or neutral.
