1. You need to take a great photo of your IEM collection and post it here in this thread.
Getting them all together is a single well-shot pic is gonna take too much work... 🤣
Maybe just wear all your cables like AWSMDanny and drape them over your shoulders with all the iems hanging down.

Or maybe a Christmas tree decorated with just iems? Requesting AI pic please @Ozboyblu.
Imagine how much cleaning @Leonarfd would have to do to get his pic done without a single speck of dust!

Someone give @Tonytex a call about this contest...

And I do believe it don't matter if your own 2 pairs or 200. We all get a fair shake. I like this contest.

To be honest it will be a nightmare to line up all the IEMs I own but throwing on some of my all time faves, now that is doable. Count me in!.

Though I would pay a small admission fee to see all of @Redcarmoose stable of IEMs lined up. Lol.
I'll pass, thanks. One, my collection isn't impressive. Two, even if it was, I'm not sure what I dislike more -- selfies or pictures showing off "gear" that I own.

I think of my IEMs as devices to deliver sound, not show ponies. That's why I usually don't give a rat's turd about faceplate appearance, color matching, etc.

To each their own. I'm weird, and I know it. :) Good luck to you cats participating in the contest!

Been spending alot of time with the Letshuoer Mystic 8 and it’s honestly been tough to take them out of my ears. Got it from my brother @gadgetgod as a loaner. The overall sound is crisp and clean, with fantastic resolution that really brings out the micro-details in tracks. I tested them with my usual Greek vocal tracks like “Ola Rimaxane” and “Ego Ti Eho Ke Ti Thao”, and the emotional weight in the vocals genuinely brought tears to my eyes — that’s how good the midrange is. The soundstage, imaging, and layering are all excellent — you really feel like you’re sitting in the middle of the music, with every element placed with purpose.

While the sub-bass does lack presence, the mid-bass has enough body and punch to make the overall signature feel full and grounded. The treble is mostly non-sibilant and detailed, though it can have small spikes depending on the recording. That said, the overall tonality is addictive — I keep coming back to it. And I can’t skip mentioning how beautiful the shell is; visually, this is one of the best-looking IEMs I’ve ever used.

I will give more detailed impressions in the full review soon- but this one’s really something special.

This new contest should apply to you guys. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/ifi-audio-asks-gotta-lotta-iems.977026/post-18709483

Borrowed from their page. I know more than a few of you guys have a COLLECTION. Lets see it in full force!.

I think this is a great idea to be proud of our collection through the years. I will post a pic when I get a chance myself.

@Redcarmoose I bet your collection will be museum like. Lol.
Well all this was not planned, as would probably be the answer for most here. You know like in an alternate reality (a dream) which is real life. Still though when asked to compare two IEMs or find a cable (to test) to answer PM questions or whatever, it is surprisingly easy and fast to find gear? Probably the best part is everything is small.

I sold the room of vinyl records that I used to have.....the pure weight must have been crazy heavy on the floors on the 2nd story room they were in. Moving was trouble as I had to hire helper people and buy cases of boxes to fit the records in. After that wild adventure everything else is a walk in the park. I guess getting the IEM storage act together is an act of kindness to yourself further making life easy by enabling access to this sport of collecting.

Omg I love this so much !

If only I joined head-fi earlier T_T, it would have been really fun to think of a creative way to display all my IEMs lol

My first Juzear iem was the 41T and i absolutely love it. Oustanding value then came the 61T which on paper I should love but something was off in the treble timbre. Fast forward to the Zeos collaboration the Juzear Defiant a $100 doller bagain im back in love with the Juzear brand this iem redefines the whole up to $100 level a fantastic musical iem that favours music rather than ear scratching details.
This is my first impression and is the most positive first impression I’ve experienced. First of all its a beautiful shell with an emerald green faceplate complemented with one of the best included cables in the price range. The colours of the cable match better with the rainbow faceplates of the alternative Defiant but don’t clash too much with the green.

This is warm lush balanced sound with enough detail to enjoy. The timbre and dynamics across the board are natural and engaging providing a realaxed cross genre playback.

I will be giving this a full review soon, i would like to thank Hifigo.com for sending this gorgeous iem for review.
I recently received the 61t, and I agree that the treble is a weakness, but not because of its timbre. I find it hot on a revealing source and beautiful on a warmer one.

Looking forward to your pics and full review!

Once a few pairs end up on the classifieds, I'll most definitely be buying a pair. I love those green caps
The Defiant, for me, are a new $100 gatekeeper. Between sonics, ergonomics, and it's ability to adapt to almost every genre I threw at it, it's just a magical IEM at that price.

Love it!!

Thanks for this feedback. I really dig mid-bass over sub-bass, as I'm one of the few here who described the bass of the DUNU DaVinci as resembling a bovine fart or a constant hum from an appliance.

I can take different flavors of mids and treble tuning, but excessive sub-bass repels me almost every time.

The BrainDance is the only IEM that I auditioned as a tour member or on loan that I miss. I REALLY enjoyed it, and my surprise and delight about the sound signature was damn close to a mirror image of yours. More bass than I expected, and the treble was far less piercing and dominant than I expected, yet it was VERY resolving.

I didn't get the same holographic soundstage sense with the BD that many enjoyed, maybe because I had just received the Fan 3 shortly before the BrainDance. But man, was the sound CLEAN. Really enjoyed it. On my hit list for a possible used purchase. I miss it.

Yep, tough to beat the mids and treble clarity and neutrality of the Volume S. Enjoy them!

I use regular Divinus Velvet on my Volume S. Work great for my sonic preferences and fit needs.

That doesn't mean diddly-dick. Trump has ignored or defied numerous court orders since he took office in January. Courts told him to work on returning Abrego from El Salvador, and he and his administration have done nothing.

What's a comp? Curious, as I like meta tuning but already have the Volume S and the Explorer. Probably will sell the Explorer, as the Volume S is better for me in almost every area.
comp would be complimentary, or a review unit?

As for the Explorer, I pulled it out the other night and listened to it as part of my daily trio along with the Volume S, and honestly, I just couldn't get into the Explorer, except for maybe my reggae playlist. Won't sell it, since I already sent the MagicOne packing, but it's losing a bit of it's lustre since I bought it?
7Hz Timeless II
IMG_1580.jpeg

Have been missing planars, none of the recent offerings really attracted me but finally pulled the trigger on the Timeless II (many years after its first unveiling!).

Out of the box, I wasn’t really sure about the sound. Swapped to the gold bullet nozzles, NOW we are grooving… great accessories as well.

We will see how it goes!
One thing I don't have missing is planars. lol Just recently had the opportunity to listen to the hype train planar Kiwi Ears Aether, and yeah, it's fantastic, but not enough above the Wu Zetian or the S12 (2024) technically for me to PTT on a buy (actually cancelled my order). Would love the chance to hear the Timeless II eventually though?

Thursday daily trio is in the books! Penon Archangel, CCA Trio, and WG T-ONE. This trio runs the price gamut from almost kilobuck to a $30.00 triple DD to a mid-fi single Tesla DD that went extremely under the radar. This is a fun set of IEMs! Currently it's the Archangel and TOOBS.
