[...]I'm trying to decide between those, the HE400, and DT880. The DT880 is only like $240 and I'm wondering if the extra $160-200+ is really worth it (I doubt it?). One thing that really attracts me to the DT880 is the one time I tried the DT770 Pro, it was like God-tier comfortable.

 
Amazon's policy is not to refund the difference. The only exception I know of is for pre-orders. They charge you the price listed at the time you order, and then refund the difference between that price and their lowest price before the time the product ships.

What did you say exactly? I've tried the exact same thing over web chat with them saying the item has dropped in price can i get credited the difference.  They politely declined and I was ok with that but if not i guess you were lucky!

Darth, buddy, all you've been talking about for days here is the HE-400, just save your money and get the headphone you really want. M100's aren't even in the same league as the HE-400! Go for the HE-400, you'll be much happier... just sayin'

I have money for either, it's more the fact that i can bring the m100's with me when i go out, which could be pretty useful. But who knows, the deal ends on sunday so i have time to decide

UPS man just dropped my HD650's off at the door...listening to In Rainbows by Radiohead right now, initial impressions are "holy ****". Like wrapping my favorite blanket around myself. So happy right now.
