Sennheiser HD598 for $199 with a $30 gift card on Amazon is not bad.  Also, this seems to be their headphone deal:

Would've been a pretty sweet deal, but CA tax almost makes the gift card insignificant for me :frowning2:

Here's something interesting for anyone looking for Bluetooth headphones...

TekNmotion Airhead BT (regularly $59.99).  The Cyber Monday discount brings it down to $29.99.  An additional $20-off promo code (CYBERMNDY3) brings that down to $9.99.  So $10 bluetooth portables then?

Been on my list of possibilities since HiFiGuy did an unboxing of it:  http://www.head-fi.org/t/634072/teknmotion-bluetooth-headphones-for-the-budget-minded-music-lovers-only-59.  Pretty sure it's not going lower than $10, so Ima jump on it now, LOL.

The price fluctuation for Amazon's goods are even worse than share prices during the "Bull Run" days of the NYSE!!!

For the Beyerdynamic Tesla T1 which I eventually grabbed for US$944.xx, during this Black Friday weekend, it went all the way down to US$945 and then shot up to US$1,005++.

Fortunately for me, the price dropped to US$944.xx a few hours ago.

I have some reading to do this morning.  From what I've read thus far we won't be disappointed, esp. at >$300 off list price.
Funny how last night they had 20 in stock and now they have more stock

The price on these cans fluctuates a lot.  It was at <$600 in Sept. 2012.

Hrmm, interesting code for Koss.com. I wonder if that gives 35% off everything on their site....

Btw it occurred to me that I have no idea how the ESP-950 sounds. Can anyone here say if it sounds like any other well-known headphones?

Koss doesn't police retailers the way that some manufacturers do (Senn, for instance).  They deal with distributors, not retailers, and establish a MSRP, but they told me they assume that retailers will sell below that.  They do not intend for the prices on their web site to undercut their retailers, so 35% on their site might mean lower prices elsewhere... or not.  In any case, from what I've seen by tracking them on Camelcamelcamel and elsewhere, prices in the $630 range have not been unusual.  Prices under $600 have been seen rarely... but being the patient (and cheap) hunter that I am, I'm waiting for that rare event...

Any deals anywhere on HE-400? I'm ready to buy but no need to rush if there's no special price.
