HiSounds apparently shipped out an untested, faulty product to everyone that took advantage of the promotion (I haven't actually gotten mine yet). Bad nozzle design resulting in poor bass and ear tips that fall of in your ears. Their offer to make good: we can get a refund if we want to pay to ship it back to China, or get a discount on a much more expensive pair of IEMs.  
They probably don't like me now because I'm raising hell. I don't care that much about the money; I can afford it. It's the principle of the thing and the fact they promoted heavily to students with free shipping for them.

I've been using a site that gives rebates back called shop.com/rebateme
It's actually not too bad, I've used it a few times. Basically, you go on normal sites like Amazon but the rebates you also get a few dollars or two back. Right now all I've bought using that site is a few music albums, nothing big yet. But I got enough rebates to get a whole album for free. So yeah it seems interesting and seems like an potential way to save some money to accumulate over time. If it turns out well I might use it for more online shopping. A lot of sites that work with rebateme are amazon and best buy so that's a plus.

a seller on ebay has a pair of Sennheiser hd650 in "mint" condition $300 buy it now free shipping in the US here
 
also: a used pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium 32 ohm for $119.95 + $5.49shipping , description reads"NOTICEABLE SIGNS OF WEAR AND IMPERFECTION" so don't know how good of a deal that is

I was just going to post this. I've ordered from Bens Outlet a few times. I once had a cheapie watch arrive DOA I emailed them and they sent me a replacement. It seems like a few of these sites are related like 1saleaday and Bens. I went for a pair.

Item was marked as shipped today and the tracking provided was 9405509699938176241975. I never seen a tracking number like this. Well, let's wait.
