Oh well, if a mod decides it's against the rules they can delete.

Reason I say it's a gray area, while the link itself isn't sponsored, links from that site are.  I have no affiliations with the site, I just use it a lot for Amazon purchases especially.  I just check the lower end of prices and set an alert, it's saved me a lot of money since I've started using it.

You have to be careful as well though, without context you could assume the price might go down to a spot again when some outside influence caused the blip.  Take the uptowns for example, if you wait for it to drop back down to $65 you might never buy since it was just driven down by J&R seemingly cleaning house on them.  http://camelcamelcamel.com/Philips-SHL5905BK-28-CitiScape-Headphones/product/B007BNE564

They where 330$ new from Amazon...approx one month back

I've been checking Amazon's prices -- not other vendors' prices -- on the HD 598, 600, 650, and 800 regularly for over two months. I've never seen such a price they were from a third-party seller, and/or they were used.

Seriously  HD 650 was $339.32 at Amazon.com I did post on 2012-07-17

I can vouch for that.  I picked them up at that price because of that post.  Thanks for that, by the way!

YMMV, but I just got a pair of these for a lady friend and I find them highly overrated. I can't imagine why Tyll put these on his Wall of Fame...they isolate well and I like the memory foam ear pads, and they are light, but in terms of their sonics I find they lacking quite a bit. Even for $46 I'm sure better can be had. Just my opinion.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but Future Shop is clearing out their stock of Sennheiser "Adidas" edition phones. If you're lucky you can snag a pair of the HD 25-1 II for $50 CAD. I paid $40 for the store demo as some one had cleared all the stock in the Edmonton area.

That's a sick deal! If anyone wants, I'll trade my pair of Philips Uptown Citiscape from the recent JR sale for a pair of those.
