I'd check Google, YouTube, and FIIO's website first.

From http://fiio.com.cn/news/index.aspx?ID=221&page=1, where DBROTH is Number One with a Bullet.

Below are some unauthorized retailers in US and UK, we are not sure who they are and whether they are selling Genuine FiiO's products, so the best way is to avoid buying any FiiO products from these retailers. Also, we will keep updating the list in the future.

They where 330$ new from Amazon...approx one month back

I've been checking Amazon's prices -- not other vendors' prices -- on the HD 598, 600, 650, and 800 regularly for over two months. I've never seen such a price they were from a third-party seller, and/or they were used.

Monster through its own store and through ebay are selling Miles Davis edition headphone refurbished for 99.99 refurbished. These listed for 400 dollars. They are also clearing Yao Ming heaphones  (new) for 49.99. Frankly i think the Miles Davis headphones are a better deal, but I'd love to hear what others say about these headphones.

I probably can't post it since it's in a gray area with the sponsored link rule, but an Amazon price tracking site says it was $326.33 on Dec 19, 2011, around July it was about $340.

I had interpreted the "sponsored" rule as forbidding links by vendors ("members of the trade") and, in this thread especially, "affiliate links." If there's more to it, I've been bad myself. I didn't interpret it as prohibiting links to the site you're mentioning, but I've been wrong before ... once, I think!

I just re-read the TOS and couldn't find such a rule. Do you have a pointer to it?

On-topic, more or less:

I got interested in mid-June and was disappointed to find all the ~$325 prices were gone. If it was $340 in July, I missed it. I wish I hadn't.
