Believe me. You're not the first. Just look at Dakmart to get a refurbished set. They have them for $310, and have the 600s for $200. It's the cheapest semi-legit site out there. I've bought a few things from their Amazon store, and never had any trouble.

Amazon is $5 more--and from J & R as well.
 
This can, and the SA5000, has been discontinued for a long time.  The SA5000 is currently $490 at Amazon through a third party seller.  The cheapest I can find the SA5000 is $419 (with a $10 coupon code applied).
