Do any of the upcoming Amazon Goldbox deals look good to you guys?

The MEElectronics S6 is the only thing I'm interested in.
I've been wanting it but don't want to pay $50 for it. Hopefully it'll be in around $30.

Well, a lot depends on pricing, but the Phiaton PS 210 and current Philips Citiscape are good ones.

Though I am holding off for the Sakar Hello Kitty DJ Style Headphones

Saw these during early summer and missed out cause I spent my money on too many headphones! Glad they popped up again, and I ordered one now that I have money again.  Question, what portable amp would you recommend most for these?  Thinking of either Fiio E6, E11 or cMoyBB.

I bought and received it flawlessly. Closed box, new. It was 230, anyway.

Unfortunately I needed to pay tax so it ended up 90% more. But it's better than have 90% more starting at 350...

Looks like an amazing deal, but I cant find any solid reviews on them. Anyone know?  I was waiting for TF10 for $100 on Black Friday and I wonder if these are worth it instead?

Still not a good deal. The cx980 wasn't good for $150 and is still not good for 130 bucks.

That is what I read on http://www.head-fi.org/t/518656/the-iem-portable-headphones-deal-alerts-thread-no-affiliate-links-permitted/5325#post_8613492

I had them some time back...they sound good but do not isolate....again not worth $130...for me IEM not worth even 30$ if they do not isolate

I've wanted one for a long time. Now that I see one for sale, I wonder what I'd really do with it.

Yeah, the cx980 is not a good deal at all. I've heard almost every sennheiser from cx280 up to ie8 and the cx980 is just an over priced low-end iem. Staring from the long curved metal body that just feels weird (the work of some BMW designers, who apparently know nothing about headphones) and ending with the sub par sound quality. I even liked the cx500 more. It would have been a good deal if they were like $40 and nowadays with so many very decent iems in the sub-$50 region like vsonic and soundmagic that sound better a lot better, the cx980 can't compete in the sq department with thme let alone to be able to compete with some of the beasts that cost around or more than $100. Fore instance, an iem like the yamaha eph-100 that costs like $90-100 just destroys the cx980. So I can't recommend enough to everyone not to get it.

Got one for myself. It is definitely better than just keeping the headphones on the surface.
