There is a reason why we have flagships from different legions.

Everyone is different and has different wants and usages.

We have that dude that likes to do deep tinkering by writing up code and seeing it work on the phone or installing different schiit on it.

We have Facebook Girl

We have uber buff guy that likes to take buff pics and tweet them

etc etc

Yup, I agree. For me, sammy phones are the best choice. For those 3 scenarios, I'd recommend the N4 to the first, and iPhone to the other 2 tbh.

Even though I don't like Sammy's build quality, their phones are probably the best out there right now IMO.

I own a Samsung. Can't say the quality is good, but it's more than enough. The back is plastic, but thanks to that you can remove the battery and expand memory (I'm looking at you, Apple and HTC, and others...). No problem with the plastic back, I don't know why people complain about it. They just like to pick on little things. I've dropped my S2 plenty of times on concrete and other hard surfaces, and so far i only have a couple of scratches on the edges. From my experience it is impossible to scratch the screen. I think that the frame of the front of the screen kind of bulks out and protects the screen. I once dropped my phone and it slid along concrete ground screen down - not even one scratch.

I'd take a look at Google's choice, Samsung's and Apple's for my next choice

Nothing else really interests me.

Funny thing is that its all a circle of life with those 3 anyway.

All 3 steal each others engineers and sales people. They all use Samsung parts and Foxconn and other Asian mass prod companies.

Samsung more or less built the entire first and second gen Nexus before Google stepped in and said they wanted a phone actually developed by them. And Samsung's parts more or less built the first iPhone generations before Apple's Schism. And Google pays Apple millions to have Google on Apple's devices as main search engine and used to be maps and Youtube.

And they all sue each other year round.

circle of life

I think this sums up the population of iPhone users.

It depends on geographical stuff

In different places, I see the opposite. In my school, that fits perfectly. But of course, it all really depends and changes

Those things are very universal apps and things for any phone to do though

Hmm, I have to agree about the screen. Whereas my iPad has scratches from just existing, my Gnex doesn't have a single scratch even though it's been laid face down many times. However, the plastic on some corners is starting to wear down to the point of the plastic being black. And I dented my volume button from dropping it a foot onto plastic... mad.gif

I <3 your avatar btw

Yup. This is me when talking about all the companies suing each other:

Not to mention samsung still makes the memory for all iPhones and a lot of other companies...

I'm not that on pop side of J-music, but this is nice.

By the way, can anyone recommend me the Brainwavz M4? Or some IEM under $100. Yeah, I did the research. The number of options hurts my head, I don't know what to get.

Ironically enough, thanks to Otterbox's camo iPhone case, I see a lot of rednecks with iPhones in my town.

Then again, they're very very stupid generally, so I guess that still fits with my iPhone stereotype...

I think every 2nd or 3rd iPhone or iPod I see has a cracked screen.

Oh, and thanks. I finished watching Steins;Gate for the 3rd time yesterday. I get almost the same vibe every time I finish it, it never gets old. I wish I could go back in time and see it for the first time again. :(

Heh, yeah. I've watched it twice... Too bad you already know what's going to happen...

But the way they make the first episode go full circle when watching it again is astounding!

In the end, why even talk about companies sueing each other and copyright trolls? This was the cause of the American patent system and the only way to actually do busienss without being screwed and plenty have done it. So in the end, f it.

Apple is quoted as using a first generation abridged type of Gorilla Glass.

Better than average regular 'glass' obviously but still nothing like official gorilla glass used in flagship Android's.

I actually don't mind.

It creates a business for me. (iPhone 4S and pre that is)

iPhone 4S is harder than most and iPhone 5 is even harder to fix but with the will, its there.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I reckon! I mean, the scream at the beginning, the message with the unplayable video...

Steins;Gate has pretty cliche characters, and many cliche and over the top moments, but the full package is fantastic.

Good show, I prefered the weight and emotion of Madoka better though

The M4?

Uhm....not exactly the best choice out of the Brainwavz lineup.

Sound preference, comfort, isolation, other criteria?

An Asian trucker? That won't do!
