Just got my K422s. Certainly the best headphone I've ever bought for $20, and I agree that they're still worth it even at ~$50. Very comfortable too.

Agreed.. It may not be the best $20 I've ever spent.. (a story for another time and place..) but you could do a whole lot worse... They sound much better than I anticipated, that's for sure...  They sound so good I might try the K450 for craps and giggles.. They're under $60 new..

I had to exchange my K422, there was a problem with the right speaker. I was muddy and messy. I hope the replacement pair works. I was so excited to get them/try them... I was so bummed I got a bad pair.

K422 (which comes with a nice carrying bag) is an out standing buy for just $20.  I's a clear step down in sound quality and accessories from the K450, but that's to be expected.

It's definitely a consumer-oriented sound (strong mid-bass, warm, forward mids, and sweet highs), but they're not bad that's for sure.

Well that's good to hear.. I ordered the K450 this evening after spending only an hour with the K422.. The 422's were well worth the money and I look forward to hearing the 450's. The 422's will be a nice intro to portable music for my friends that don't like IEM's.
