Well, not to rock the boat, but I felt mine looked a little... cheap. There are white headphones that are done right, like the K701, but the Q701 looks a little tacky, IMO. Not to mention showing every little scuff, mark, and fingerprint.

That said, there are still some white ones left at Amazon starting at $186.

My mom did say that they looked like they were very expensive if they were legit or very cheap fake movie props to others looking at me wearing them

I bought the Jaycar versions, and after listening to them, I would say the $110 for the Brainwavz is still a hell of a price for these headphones(definitely comparable to $200+ headphones, and gain my preference over the M50's)..
The Jaycars are great if you're broke, but the Brainwavz are still a great deal for the 1yr warranty, extra cable and consistent build quality
