Aren't a bunch of the online pro audio stores or stores that carry similar/such things based in New York?

No stores in New York? You can walk into J&R and buy just about anything they sell and they have a massive headphone selection.

B&H Photo is another as well as Dale Pro Audio, but Dale doesn't accept returns on headphones.  =X
I frequently buy connectors from Dale.  Great customer service, too.

Wow, good deal!

T1 for 1k is a pretty good deal. In case any of you miss it or aren't ready for it at this time, I got my T1's for 1k by e-mailing various reputable vendors asking them all what the lowest price they'd be willing to offer it for was. Best off was 1k with free shipping so I took it. Feel free to try your own luck with it! (P.s. This doesn't work with Grado's or Sennheiser's (any more) as they now strictly monitor Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP.)

Actually, they do sell for less, they just sell them as "like new-open box" or "dealer demo". That's how I got my PS500s for $450. The pizza box had been opened, but they looked like they'd never been used.
