I got my pair of FA-003/HM5 clones from jaycar yesterday. No issues for me, shipping was fast, and extremely happy with the headphones.

Photos of what I received are in the FA-003 review thread.

Not first hand but there were a couple stores in the south clearing out their in-store stock of them a few months back for about $99. Best I've seen online myself when I was waiting on the price to drop was about $220 new. EE sometimes gets them in used/like-new for the green ones. I think I've seen the white in their selection once too.

Call J & R and ask what they are willing to do for you.  Through Amazon they sell the Q701 for $250 shipped.  Current low price for new white or green ones is just under $243 shipped.  Black ones go for a couple buck more.

The lowest I've seen has been $242 and change on Amazon (by Amazon.com) for the black and green colors.  I bought mine at $248 black color.

+1 for J&R, I ordered ATH-A900Xs from them and they arrived about 28 hours earlier then expected.
They had the A900Xs in UPS's hands only a few hours after I placed the order.

You have GOT to be kidding me. What I wouldn't do for one at that price. I'm a poor college student who has been rewarding myself money towards headphones for good grades (and taking away funds for bad grades). I swear every $1 is like $10 to me haha.

No experience, but I saw that they had high shipping prices.  Still, around $70 for the re-brands (after shipping) is a great deal.

I would be curious to know who else has bought from the.  Also looking to get that same exact pair.

..

Problem is, they want an extra $40 for two(initially, their shipping quote was $20 since the order was under $101). At that point, I'd rather wait until MP4 has them for sale at $100 again.

What also bugs me is, I sincerely doubt they would have issued shipping refunds if it came out less than the quoted amount, but they have no issue asking for more money from their customers. Seems a bit shady :|

I hear ya, I was trying to get one of my Florida friends to drive 45 mins to get me one, she refused. It was an insane deal, and they went fast supposedly. But keep an eye on amazon and EE, they have price drops often. Also, don't be afraid to buy used if you want to save a few bucks, should be able to get them just under $200 used. Like PurpleAngel said, they have some at $200 used on Amazon right now.

There are some very decent headphones for cheaper then the Q701s.

I ordered them for $70 and got them in today and they sound fantastic. Not sure what the problem is, no one asked me for more money to cover shipping. It's an amazing deal.
