Hi.  Noob here.  Looking into buying a HD650.  Seems like all sellers I can find are selling at or near MSRP of $499. Do HD650 ever sell with a discount?  Thanks.

They used to go for around $350. Try asking razerdogdeals on ebay.

Thanks for the link, mefxes.  I checked their FAQ.  warranty is only valid in Hong Kong, so if there is anything wrong, you would have to send it back to Hong Kong for repair.

Bid around 350 and ask in the notes what his lowest price would be. Last I heard he sold one or 375?

Sennheiser HD650.
Amazon has used one listed for $400.
eBay has new ones listed for a little over $400 (warranty?).
used ones listed for even less.

 I remember for quite a while last year... they were going for $350 on Amazon.... and HD600 for a littel below $300. HD600 even went on sale for $250 for once... But I threw my money at the fantastic ATH W1000X deal which was $360.... actually now think of it... lots of great headphones were going very cheap at the time... I wish I had 2K that I could blow...
 
I think these deals will come back very soon... but I can (and most likely) be wrong..
 
EDIT: now I remembered...  I believe the abnormal pricing at the time was due to some company's clearance sale...

In the second half of October 2011, I got the 600 from Amazon for $270 shipped.

I saw those low HD650 prices last year from price history sites.  Wish I was ready to buy then.  I do have a buddy who can get me a pair of AKG  K550 at less than half the MSRP.  I am thinking about getting that as well.

It's refurbished but basically new (call Crutchfield, they have great representatives and service).

No experience, but I saw that they had high shipping prices.  Still, around $70 for the re-brands (after shipping) is a great deal.
 
I would be curious to know who else has bought from the.  Also looking to get that same exact pair.
