Yep, calling in is usually how to take advantage of deals offered by J&R.

I am not endorsed any salesman but if you do not get $349.00 for the Denon listed above, talk to Lucas @ J &R.

Is the deal still going on? When calling in do I ask for a deal on the Denon ATH- a100 special edition directly or is there some sort of code? Also is Lucas a rep for the company?

These two Used Very Goods are now down to $137.99

Are they heavy? How do they feel on your head, especially after hours of use?
I bought the Denon last Friday and will have them by tomorrow .Yes, Lucas is J & R CSR,

Are there a limited availability or are they pretty well stocked say to a week and a half? That's when I will have money available to spend.

Not sure if you are supposed to post personal auction on head-fi, especially in this thread.
But your "I PAYED 50 CENTS FOR THIS WEEEEEEEE" description sure made the item sound cheaper than is.

ah i didn't even think about that, i took it down, maybe you can too.

no i payed 50 cents for the ad, guess that could be confusing.  I doubt anyone thinks i bought headphones for 50 cents.

Of course it's confusing.  Who doesn't 50 cents (or less) for a listing?  =p

well either way, if you think dt 770s are "cheap" maybe you shouldn't be buying them, and im comfortable in the fact of giving my headphones to a smart consumer, not someone who doesn't know their worth and will throw them in the corner.  I dont need the extra 10 bucks.

I would not categorize them as heavy.  My apparently large ears don't agree with the earcups unless they're perfectly positioned, and as such they can get uncomfortable for me when used >1 hour, however I believe I am part of a small minority in that regard.  I find them otherwise very comfortable, and many seem to find them among the more comfortable headphones available.
