This deviates into HiFi, but...

Through 15 October, NewEgg is offering these for only $270 each ($540 for a pair).

They normally sell for about $430 to $495 each.  (Suggested Retail is $750 each.)

Klipsch WF-35 Icon-W Series Cabernet Floorstanding Loudspeaker

That's a lot of sound AND a lot of furniture for the money, especially when you consider what we spend on Head-Fi gear.

Newegg is constantly having great specials on home audio equipment. For example, Kef iQ70s were $199 ea recently (which I would pick over those Klipsch). Great idea for anyone looking to get into home audio to sign up for their mailing list. Also, watch Vanns.com who typically also has great deals but has just entered bankruptcy. Might be really good deals there in the coming months.

However, it might get messy in this thread if everyone starts sharing Newegg (and other places) home audio specials.

If I can squeeze into one, does it become a body phone?

I got a pair of Polk Rti6 from newegg for 107.00 open box. another pair for 129 new. (normally $500)

Yea you gotta keep an eye on their speakers. But FYI I bought a 600 dollar pair of klipsch floor standing speakers and returned them in favor of the Rti6. You can completely hear the sound resonate off the weird plastic bell or cone that Klipsch puts around their tweeter (at least in the units I bought).

My 2c, I would pay 700 dollars for similar polks before I would waste 100 dollars on those klipsch.

Front End Audio is a great high end audio store. They carry the Fostex TH900 (Backordered), Edition 8's, various Audio techica's, Beyer's, and other headphones. They also carry headphone amps.

This coupon is a good way to save a few hundred dollars on more expensive gear that you normally don't see on sale.

That's a pretty decent price on DT 880s & Fostex T50RPs when you apply the 10% coupon. Most of their other headphones are too overpriced to begin with to make the coupon worth it.
