Another great ELAC bookshelf speaker, the ELAC Uni Fi UB5 Bookshelf Speakers is also on sale at Amazon, Audio Advisor and other dealers at $349. See: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01CRYWVG2 Note that the deal I posted up the page for the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6 Bookshelf Speakers is already back up to $200 at Amazon and many dealers selling at $150 are reporting that they are out of stock--but expect that they can ship in 1 to 2 weeks.
The Adorama product description (and photo) only lists cables with XLR and 1/4" (6.4mm) plugs. Thinking you would have to purchase another cable or an adapter to get to 3.5mm.
This is true. Also the v2's don't sound as good as the older 560's. Several of us who had both agreed on this during the original v2 debacle. Well documented in the 560 thread.
Yeah, looking for XLR to 2.5mm Balanced. I forgot about the 3.5mm change, but want that for V3? There's a V3 right? I know the 400i changed, the Ananda uses them, but didn't know if the HE560 made the change. I think Hifiman cables online run about $100, not to say they are worth that much.
V-MODA Crossfade Wireless at their lowest price ever: https://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-Crossfade-Wireless-Over-Ear-Headphone/dp/B015R7AGHC
Well damn, I just bought the El Amp about a month ago since it has RCA in and Out so I can use my bookshelf speakers. Now they drop the Atom for ~$200 less and his RCA In/Out.
Yes I can confirm that. The only reason I know is someone got a HiFiMan compatible cable and had to send it back to me for a swap because of the 3.5mm connectors... so it will not work with Edition X v2 or any of the existing series of HiFiMan headphones. I have no idea why they decided to change it mid-model.
SVS is selling their sealed 12" subwoofer SB12-NSD for $399.99 instead of $680, and the ported version PB12-NSD for $499.99 instead of $800. SB12-NSD: https://www.svsound.com/products/sb12-nsd PB12-NSD: https://www.svsound.com/products/pb12-nsd

https://us.creative.com/blackfriday/ Various items for sale. The Creative Aurvana Live (49.99) and Creative Aurvana Live-2 (59.99) caught my eye. Look at the various reviews for the CAL (supposed to be the better of the two)
CRRAAAZZZZYYY DEAL. Emotiva clearing out the Big Ego ($64) and Little Ego ($49). https://emotiva.com/products/big-ego https://emotiva.com/products/little-ego These won't last long. Go Go Go!
Hey, I was eyeballing that up. Any info on if it is that much better then the M Audio Micro DAC that I have? From what I could glean, the answer is Yes but I could not find any definitive head to head comparisons. TIA!
