You got it at a good price. enjoy, the 7550 or EX800st, are also good, just with a different sound stage.

Exactly in place of the sony filter I put a foam filter from comply tips to not allow dirt to get inside
as a result, the sound is clearer, the larger 3D scene and better dynamics

Just a quick question, if I re-terminate my Ex1000 cable for TRRS for the ZX2 or ZX300, will the cable work on a normal 3.5mm socket, what will I expect will happen if I put it on a normal 3.5mm socket.

trrs is a kind of connector, which can be wired in a number of different ways. earbud with included microphones for phones use trrs for L+, R+, shared ground and mic +. The Hifiman trrs connection uses the 4 'pins' for L+ R+, l- and R- (not in that order.... you could also wire it in any sequence you want- some won;t work with specific gear, other was might actually fry your gear.
