Some Dj Headphone with the quality

I've tried SHR750DJ. It was ok sound quality wise, but I stress "ok" I found what ever I used to power them they distorted over 70% volume like they couldn't handle power. Laptop, E11, E10, everything I tried. Just at that point where you start enjoying the music at louder volumes they would back up. I bought them partly for bass, I was highly disappointed at their performance.

Mine also arrived already broken straight out of the box, a piece of hinge simply feel off right in front of me, that alone was enough for me to put them down. They're heavy, expensive, creaky, the head band is flat hurting your head and SQ is just "meh" After paying $145 I couldn't re-sell them even after having the broken section specially fixed. I had to let them go for $56 dollars due to lack of interest on ebay, they were only three days old. Took me a month to sell them at $56.

I would stay right away from them, I now have Koss DJ100 and they obliterate those Shures.

Anything but those.

Exactly.  I don't understand why more people don't love these headphones.  They are terrific, especially for their modest cost.

There are sooooo many headphone that it's too hard to choose. And since most come from internet purchases, I can't try them! This thread here (http://www.head-fi.org/t/541654/denon-dn-hp700-review-and-comparison-to-the-ah-d7000) compares the DN HP700 to some high quality headphones. But isn't it too optimistic for the DN's? Are they that good?

And apparently the Koss's are gurtinh the ears : http://www.head-fi.org/t/522907/my-koss-dj-100s-hurt-my-ears-pressure-on-them
