Trying to go through all the pictures. Looking for the cleanest setup that has the audio rack on the desk. My plan is to get some bookshelves or floorstanding on the sides of my 72" wide desk. I don't want the rack to get in the way. Any ideas?

I will probably have the Dave+Farad3, AHB2 and Envy. So 3 tiers should be enough.
Think in 3 dimensions. Get a monitor shelf, raise the monitors up to clear it. Put your smaller gear (Dave, etc.) under the monitor shelf. Put the bookshelf speakers on actual bookshelves (or shelves) mounted to the wall at monitor height.

Very nice. I would be interested in hearing your feelings about the CC Copper Mass Loading mod... how long have you had it?

I've had the UK Custom Cans / CNC damper (mod) for about two years. Also, I use Dekoni fenestrated sheepskin pads.

I find the CNC mod adds dimension / clarity to the bass and sub-bass - without mucking with the midrange. The extra (touch) of resolution to the bass (to my ear) creates perception of slightly enhanced/clarity in the midrange and treble (although nothing has actually changed to the frequency response, IMO). Overall, I found the juice worth the squeeze for this small investment. I also like how the CNC dampers look :sunglasses: :notes:

Thank you for the info. What changes with the Dekoni fenestrated sheepskin ?

Gun to head. If you had to pick one setup only, which would it be? :gun:
It's between the wa33 and red October, hm1 would be first to go  I can't choose because I have 2 very different setups and I love both for different reasons.

The wa33 is crazy technical, the Red October is insanely musical.

Fair enough. This may be difficult to put into words, but when you say “more musical” can you explain what you mean a bit? It might be easier to contrast with the wa33. I’m genuinely interested.
